In this video we go over the Li-Ning JB 1.
Playoff Jimmy continues to dominate even though the Celtics are making a historic comeback. His signature shoes, are unique and promising while also having a few small problems: discomfort around the tongue, dust pick up, and lateral containment. The cushioning setup featuring a Boom drop-in midsole feels great on feet, and in general the traction performance was solid too despite having zero squeak with its foam outsole. I would recommend either going half size up, or true to size in US sizing. The verdict is, the JB 1 is overpriced at full retail but if you can ever snatch a good deal - decent shoe to hoop in.

I freakin love this shoe. I got the coffee colorway a few months ago for what I thought was a deal 😮💨 These new prices look so much better, damn. But still, I feel like they were well worth it. They feel like a next gen take on a kobe-esque drop-in shoe, and I absolutely love playing in them.

Can you compare the lebron 20’s and pg 6’s please
the model is good, but there is a big 2 cons. The sole is quickly erased even in the hall. lateral containment.

great review, but i'm surprised you went up a half size and then complained about containment... why not go more snug?
Thanks! Length wise it was a perfect fit for me, half size up had a decent heel lockdown too but it’s just on lateral movements. I meant to say the dead space around the midfoot area on hard cuts - was inconsistent with the fit length wise.
that makes a ton of sense put that way - i got my son a pair of these, but the thing you didn't touch on too much is durability. these supposedly had great bite, but that's only on clean surfaces, and only at first. i bought my kid curry 10 and these, and i quickly had to grab a pair of luka 1 and ja 1 to have a shoe rotation that doesn't start to feel like a slipper on a clean (but not perfect) surface

Sharp Edge III V2 Low > All City 11 > JB 1. But honestly all 3 are good shoes to hoop in, that’s just if I have to rank them in order.

Maybe, but width wise they’re slightly narrower than average so I personally didn’t wanna risk it not fitting for being too tight. I think TTS & half size up are both viable here, just depends on what type of fit you prefer. 😃
@@TommyLiu4 i ordered mine tts but its so difficult with the dropin midsole. I went half size up for Wow city 11 and it ended up being too big, but SOF half size up with move insoles were perfect. fingers crossed!
Tighten your shoes correctly and there are no problems. Love the fit feel, containment cushioning etc. Going to cop other colorways. Stop bitching Lace em up right and they are great. Nuff said!!!

Which one is better for guard driving a lot on courts, JB1 or Curry2 Flotro?
Umm very close actually. Both are good options for guards, I’d probably take the Curry 2 Flotro for superior traction and extremely minimal weight.
The JB 1 I would only cop at a good price - it’s a good shoe but full retail is just overpriced.

Wide feet maybe go up a half size just to be safe. These have medium-slightly narrow width.

I’d say the Fission 8 is slightly better actually. More bounciness, super breathable & especially since your foot is normal width they’ll be a good fit.
