It's funny to coil split a single pickup guitar..it's like, you've a quarter acre of space to drop a single coil! But..I'd still be orgasmic to own it, lol! Tough to beat a good single-pickup guitar! Without the magnetic pull of the neck pickup, the strings have more freedom to vibrate and allow for a really amazing tone out of the bridge pickup.

That Lollar Firebird is a great pickup. One of our favorites. The neck position version sounds very good as well!

was the Lollar pickup in this guitar wound to any custom specs? Or was it stock?
