Thank you! They're still improving on it now that they are on the road. We will have to catch up after a couple months with them!! Absolutely love their set up/style!
from south africa..... ditch the plastic jerry can, they will cause you grief when you lest need it... get the steel one and be done with nonsense.... otherwise not a bad setup....
Very nice! I hope those boxes in the cargo carrier are very hard plastic. We lost a lot of expensive gear when our not so rigid boxes failed and the lid opened when we were driving. Lesson learned. Did he say what size generator that Yamaha was? We have a Casita too and are generator shopping.
Liz Childers so far 3000 miles and boxes have stayed put. Lids are bolted to the boxes on one side and pad locked on the other. We also put tie down straps on inside and outside. The extra storage space is incredibly helpful.
Sue: you are right . However due to the large explosion of types of camping accommodations the names have also expanded to be more specific. A camper is someone who camps (basic). There are camper trailers, campervans, drop ins as you described with the truck, fifth wheel trailer campers, motorhomes, etc.. In Europe, there are caravans.
All depends on your needs! I know they’ve entertained the idea of going slightly larger since it gets crowded with their two dogs as well. I’ve been living in my sprinter van now coming up 1.5 years and it’s been plenty but I don’t have dogs.
@@DabSedan She absolutely loved it. This was in the early '80's when she got it. I don't know what year it was. It was so funny, because she pulled it with a huge 1980 something Buick Electra 225. My wife and I and our 2 sons (10 & 11 at the time) went with her from Terre Haute, Indiana to Mackinaw Island. Holland, Michigan was beautiful, the tulips were in full bloom. She had a screen tent where we would set up for meals. We parked it somewhere in Mackinaw and took the ferry to the island and spent the day. The boys slept in the bunks in the front of the camper while my wife and I slept in a tent {{{UGH}}}. But all in all, it was a great time. We did I think 3 more trips with her. One to Little Nashville, IN, one to French Lick, IN (Home of Larry Byrd, he was the star at ISU in Terre Haute at that time) and to Prairie Creek Park in Vigo county for their Maple Syrup Festival. Even though, it was like this little piece of crap thing, it sure made some great memories. To be honest, at the time, I really didn't want to go. It was freaking hot. Would get back home tired and wore out. At the time, I think we did it more for my mom than for anything else. That's what I thought at the time. But you want to know something? Now I am 65, the boys are in their 40's. We have grandkids and even great-grandkids and I realize that no matter what I thought at the time about how hot it was or how camping sucked and how tired I would be when we got home or what a piece of crap that old Burro was. The memories by far, outweigh all of that trivial crap. I love pissing my sons off by showing the grandkids pictures of their dads when they were so young on those trips. Damn, I would give anything to be young again and take just one more trip in it.
Time will tell get tired of living in a shoe box.as I sit next to my gas fire place watching my flat screen in paid off home ..I can jump in a truck n pull a trailer any time any where and come back home when I've had enough if it works good for you more power to you
Stupid move removing the hood over the range. That is NOT for fires or explosions. It is to capture and direct out through the fan the MASSIVE amount of water vapor produced by burning propane. Now it will just go inside the camper and give you humidity problems. I have observed that people
So cute and cozy these little campers. Would love to live in one full-time.
This is such a dope setup.
I no longer want an airstream!
Nice tour of your friend's Casita-alot of cool mods
------HAPPY TRAILS!!!

Does this guy have his own channel? Very cool, totally pimped out. That's the trailer I want. They last forever.
Sam Smith I have a link in the description to his channel. Glad to hear you love their setup! It's awesome!!!
Some nice ideas.
Nice looking camper, I want to do the same to mine!
matt andersen it was very roomy! We had 4 in there all day comfortably
This is becoming the norm, I see so many people doing this a lot more nowadays
Mumble people are realizing they can do more than just work and own a house and have kids and die. It was the best decision my wife and I made!

You should get some solar on it
They have solar as do we on our van and love it!!
Their channel has had no activity for about a year?
Where did he get that sink cover please?
R O his page is mentioned in the description. I shot him a message to know for myself as well!
It’s a trailer not a camper. FYI campers go on trucks. Thanks ... I just bought one too!

Tow-behind camper trailers are definitely a thing but righton!
Getting views!!
Pop your camper series I’m tellin you. It would be even better with people you didn’t know
Does your buddy still live in this Casita?
Fattie they do!! I know they’ve made a couple changes to it as well
I have a 17 Travel trailer box length and debating if i would need a bigger trailer to go full time. Decisions suck.

I want one. Hard to find.
Keep a eye on cregslist these people and others like them will tire of this lifestyle
"Bolers," not "Burros," were the original Canadian-made fiberglass "egg" trailers.
Ron McNeal thank you! I’ve enjoyed learning a lot more about these!!
My mom had a Burro.
Wm Cottrell that’s awesome! How did she like it?

CO2 IS CARBON DIOXIDE CO is carbon monoxide JUST FYI.
6 months 1 year tops you will hate that trailer and life on the road
jj 2021 my wife and I are at just shy of a year with our sprinter and I believe they’re just over 6 months. We all love our decisions!
