- So... This one I went totally Blind into. Heard about the band less then a week ago, and going to their concert here in Bergen tonight!
I must honestly say that I reallt don't know what I think, but I did really enjoy this song and performance. It gave me good nostalgic vibes. I grew up in the 80's and 90's so I found some similarities.
Kinda excited to see what more they joy they can deliver😁🤩

I just discovered Future Island a week ago, how I managed to miss this band is beyond me but I love this song, absolutely brilliant and wonderful 😊
Who knew that synth pop with a dash of metal growling would be such a revelation, but the whole package is magnetic.
I can't get over how earnest the singer is in his performances. I needed it.
Best reaction video, you let the performance happen & enjoyed every second then reacted, not like those others who feel the need to keep pausing to speak & interrupt & as for Future islands! WOW what stage presence he has what a performance Awesome band
I saw Limmy do a reaction video to this song. They have since become of my favourite bands ever.
& how was the concert a year ago now 😅 . He makes awkwardness look like a cool thing 💚 future islands all the vibes
I had the same reaction when I saw this performance the first time. I love these guys now and have since. They are surprising for sure. Hope you enjoyed the show!

Future islands has to be seen and experienced live. It's a must!!! I had a great time and the energy just blew my mind. It was an awesome experience ❤

Saw them on the Jools Holland New Years Eve show and my mind was blown...but they need to do a live album as the studio recordings are pale by comparison🤯
I agree... This is a Live band... It's all about the bloody energy and no studio recording can ever be as intense as that...

Haha this song blew up but I think it was that this guy has been waiting for 40 years for his time in the line light and when he got the chance he fully went for it. The music track was great and the radio version the vocals were more consistent and more catchy. This performance is a bit of a meme but grows on you.
The singer was 29 during this live performance.
@@Taivywaivy my bad, to me he always looked like a forty yo living out a dream. I never knew his actual age but that is interesting that he was younger yet ozzing 80s. All power to him...I do like the song btw. But this particular performance is so meme worthy 🤣
He actually doesn't seem to be a big fan of being in the limelight, so to speak. This performance made the band blow up, and people would often approach him on the street and ask him to do the dance, which drives him up the wall. He just likes to go for it when he's performing. Outside of that, the spotlight isn't his thing.
i don’t think he was waiting for a spot in the limelight to go all out, this is just his usual performance style
P.s. i was in Bergen for 3 days in 2005 and it didnt rain....guess im a lucky bugger😈
