I am trying to wrap my head around the need in this system for a MBT with stabilizing fire control why a short halt order is applied to by the M1. As an armor officer during this time I can assure you we did not require short halts to engage targets on the move. In fact increasing speed in average terrain gave the gunners a better Shooting platform and cleared obscuration from the last round shot. I just picked up the rules to add to my collection. I am looking forward to trying them either way.
I think that is mostly just a game mechanic and the stabilization is there to compensate for that. And the golden rule I truly believe in is, if something doesn't make sense, just house rule a change. Thank you for watching and leaving a comment.
I hate to be grumpy but that 1 thumb down bothers me, I love this game. you did a great job to play this game out. Please play out more of this game, such a great tac game.
Thank you Kevin for taking the time to watch and leave a comment. I wish I could make content that pleases everyone, but I'm glad you enjoyed this one!
@ 10:00 : where did you read movement sequence is different from PANZER? I think the sequence of play is exactly the same... also, there are staggered optional rules for both... the only differences from both come obviously of the different equipments. Regards!
I watched that clip and I mentioned that I thought it was different. I was going off my memory which is never a good thing. They are the same, I just reread both rules. We house rule with alternating movement and I think that is what I was remembering. Good call out though, don't want to confuse people!
I just played this solo also. I didn't see any need for terrain objectives. the combat is so deadly in 15 turns the side that survives would then just take the objectives with no opposition
Thanks for asking. My thinking was start with basics just in case someone new to the game is watching. I can add more advanced elements later to show the modularity of the system and how easy it is to add more complexity over time.
Cue the Sir-Mixalot "I like big tanks, and I cannot lie." An attempt to invigorate the P500? Done! I have the AH version which was good for it's time but the GMT is much prettier. Thank you for the video.

Soviet penetration of 108 vs M1 armour of 100 means KO not BU, correct?

It just feels deadly in general. I'm not sure i've played any long games.
what was the catalyst for using all basic rules vs advanced?

You didn't roll to hit with the M1s. Only with the T-80.

Thanks for watching, I'm glad it was use for you. If we can get enough P500 orders, maybe they can send me box :)
@@CounterProductiveGames I thought it was weird they had all the components except the box. Hopefully we can get you a box!
Despite it's numerous flaws this is an excellent game to play.
