Loved watching this series. Followed your engine removal guide which greatly sped up my swap. I don't think I saw it in this video but you need to tap the black and white wire in the relay box. Not doing so can fry the ECU. A channel called Raretwit has a few spyder k swaps and he goes over the electrical really well in both of them. His yellow spyder is a great guide.
I’m glad it could help. What I have on relays here in this video is all I had for footage and I don’t remember doing anything else to get it started. It’s been a little while though
Im 4 months too late but the ac will fit that little bracket needs to be removed thats all. K24 vs k20 only deck height is 19mm taller. the bottom is all pretty much the same
No A/C. To be fair the previous owner cut the wiring harness for it so it would've required extra work. I'd like to buy a clean spyder with a blown motor, and that would let me run AC again.
@@samster978 I don't remember it being bracing, not sure if it was just for the E brake. I wasn't comfortable removing any bracing + I just wanted to move forward. I bet if you took it to a machine shop to redrill those holes a little lower (the difference in height between the two blocks) then it would work as well. You could probably find a way to make it work if you really wanted.
I'm just here to say... G-Head Army unite! IG droppin that heat per usual

came here to say this
Looks like you are in NH, Manch to be exact. Where you at? I'm in Merrimack/Bedford off of 101.
Yup, southern NH!
Did you make weight comparison on drivetrains? I wonder what weight gaining compared to 1zz
I am going to try to weigh my car one day, just have not figured out how yet. I’m curious too
Since cars have different engine mounts and positions. How do you know how to fit an engine...?
There is a kit for this swap, so the work is already done.

Special tools "Thor Hammer"😂
@3:24 🤣

@@IGDesigns oh ok,did you have any issues with fitments using the ac mount though?
@@samster978 I did like I said, I think the K24 being taller caused the puller to contact the suspension bracing.
@@IGDesigns I saw something on Facebook saying to remove the brace for ebrake cable is that the issue?
