At the world pokemon championship, a huge move update was announced. This includes nerfing super strong moves like wing attack, counter, and steel wing. It also reduces the switch clock from 60 to 50 seconds.
This week is Master League and Psychic Cup. Psychic Cup is a single typing great league that only allows pokemon with a psychic typing to complete.
The last psychic cup team featuring victini, malamar, and girafarig.
Hey Dan! You mentioned that looking for potential Pokémon for the “one move away from meta” list would be hard. I can help you, if you want. I can write a program that automatically pulls pokemon eligible to learn good attacks (like shadow claw) but that don’t have them yet and sort them by stat product and range. That should give you a running start. Let me know if that works and I can work on it this week.

Are you keeping IVs for level 60 for GBL? Something like 0 15 15 for Umbreon or Talonflame that max out below 2500 for Ultra League.
You could hypothetically be keeping IVs for 60, 70, 80, etc. but you get to a point where you start hoarding so many Pokemon it's just more stressful than anything. I cant see them increasing the level cap past 50 for an extremely long time, if ever. I think Niantic knows how much a majority of players hate the XL grind, so I cant see them prioritizing pushing a disliked feature even further.
Level 50 is the max for MSG battles as well.

Hate to say it, but you're about to lose a viewer if they don't fix this game soon. I'm a hair away from quitting this pathetically laggy and objectively broken game. And as much as I enjoy your vibes and analysis, I don't see myself watching content of a game I would no longer be playing.
