Never owned an OHC powered car, but would love a Sprint convertible. Born too late you say? You can still own one of you want. I was born 10 years too late and my driver is a 72 TransAm.
OHC-6 Poncho revolutionary concept -- what isn't overhead cam now -- Innovators til death did Pontiac part - the GM Division-Blender of the corporate motor (SBC) by 1979, the "division" differences reduced to relabeling with badges and emblems ( Is it a Nova?, Ventura?, Omega? ) Should have left the John Z DeLorean team including Herb Adams in Place -- Long Live Poncho's == SAVE THE SPECIES Preserve the Breed !!
Yeah that's all great.Looks awesome.Wanted us to have one.But we was poor.We had to pick apples in the and prune trees and pick asparagus and get gubment cheese from the food bank. Eat beans and fried potatoes. I had a stopper that looked like that though.
my oldest brother had a 68 hardtop in verdoro green.....black vinyl roof with black gut 4 speed 350 car (had a 327 transplant when he bought it in 79).....quick but not fast
I see the ohc lettering on hood, 6cyl. I always like the side marker lamps the shape of a bird. I was a kid who because of dad got into cars early. My dad would buy a new car every 2/3 years depending on the looks & size of V8, safety, etc.. car sales ppl were very friendly & helpful too.
I was born 30 years too late..I miss this America

The rare commercial where the reactions of the actors are justified

Sweet ride...those girls are very cute too. Not like the unnatural weirdos we have today.
This is groovy, now all we need is Marshall Brady in the passenger side having a double double from In-N-Out cruising down Pacific Coast Highway!
That 1968 Firebird convertible is sharp! Can I have one, please?
The same theme dodge used in the 67 dodge dart dealer promo with Tom Lehrer

I had a dark green '68 Sprint coupe with a 3-sp and Hurst stick. Very nimble and lively to drive; reliable and simple to maintain.
