I watched your video yesterday and even went out and bought the material. I have a grid light on the way, but needed to record tonight's video. As soon as I grabbed the tape I also noticed I had a black curtain. I ended up trimming the curtain into small rings and connecting them with staples. I have a small flexible LED key light and was able to put this over it with the light itself into a box frame. It came out awesome and I wanted to thank you for encouraging me to think outside the box. I'm going to do the original tutorial you provided for my side lights. Thank you!
Velcro can definitely work if you have some kicking around! In my case, this was only a temporary solution, so I just used what I had around the house.

Very helpful! I had made a frame with black trash bags and it helped but having the full grid is definitely better!
