Hi , will heat affect the cooling ? I’m installing it in a semi , I want the out door unit underneath the cab fixed to the frame, it gets hot underneath the rig , will it still cool ? Thanks I’m advance
Celsius to Fahrenheit: Keep the up and down pressed together for five seconds or more. manten presionado las flechitas para subir el frío o bajarlo al mismo tiempo por 5.
Thank you! I’ve been watching this technology for over a decade. I even built a new website years ago for these types of units and brands . I’m seeing more of these around the world along with solar panels 😊
When taken off the caps from the lines off the head unit to connect the gas lines . When taken the caps off the gas lines from the head unit it starts to hist . Doesbit has gas in thebhead unit ?
Teflon on flares? Yeah no, although I have seen these Teflon flare fitting caps I still wouldn’t use them. A proper flare connected properly will work…proper.

it look like this unit is 110 Volt, they connected it to a single outlet. Normally even 110 Volt should have it own disconnect box, then to the main panel. is not recommended to install in a multiple outlet. But they won't need inspection, so is ok this way too.
So as long as there is nothing else connected to that circuit it's safe? What is the purpose of a quick disconnect other than just knowing the power is off to the unit?
Great video guys. I am installing my 12K Prime unit this week. Your video will be MOST helpful.

The gray power cable on the inside unit. How did you connect it to power if the cable has an asian conncetion not a normal american connection?
How does everyone like their Prime? My remote is no longer connecting with the inside unit, it’s only 2 weeks old

How do you turn on the heater?
Does anyone know where I can find a remote for the prime Mimi split ?
What’s the seer rating on that Prime unit?
no vacuum, or pressure test?
My thoughts exactly. What about all the air in the lines?
quick question can the mini split run off of normal house hold electrical jacks the entire time?
If it is a 110 unit.
What is the f4 code ?
So you dont have to vaccum the lines before you letnthe freon loose?
Not on these
I was surprised you didn't use Teflon tape on the pipe joins.
Don’t ever do that with butt joints
@@checkoutsmolikperformance223 in the automotive world we call them double flared joints lol

Should’ve checked the flare fittings for leak’s before you wrapped them?
You can
F6?
Have you figured out to switch to Fahrenheit on Prime unit.
did you get an answer to this
@@SomeOne-vy5gv I have come to conclusion function is not available.
Yo I’ve been trying to figure out how to get power to this mini split and losing my mind. All you need to do is plug the head unit in and that’s it?!
i feel your pain, ever run into an answer?
how do you convert remote from Celsius to Fahrenheit????

@@biancatorres186 This is working switching on my remote but it will not switch on my unit display. Any ideas?

Wow, where is your quick disconnect and why didn't you put a vacuum on line set? I'll wait
Waiting for what?
Do you have to vacuum out the lines?
It’s highly recommended. But if you know how to purge the lines, you don’t have to
So no need to vacuum?
As long as do in order you did?
Which kind of drill bit did you use to much the large hole from inside to outside? And which size?
1/4 inch 12 long
Is purging the lineset instead of using a vacuum pump EPA approved?
This unit doesn't require a quick disconnect?

OMG no vacuum 🤣 or you didn’t release the air inside the pipe and evaporator. 😮
