Ken, if you get food poisoning again, take some charcoal tablets. Here in Germany, most doctors will tell you to take them as soon as you can when you're having such an episode. The charcoal binds itself to toxins to carry them quickly through the intestines. Just make sure you drink LOTS of water with them and throughout the day. Works a treat. The squatters can get removed by the Sheriff once a renter shows them they have a lease to live there. So owners have been having a friend sign a lease to rent their home, then the renter has more rights to be there than the squatter. So utterly asinine that the owner has zero rights but this maybe a work around for the time being

Home remedy for food poising. I always keep a can of Pears (in heavy syrup) in the car and at home. If you ever get food poising, open the can drink the pear juice (don't eat the pears). It has worked for me several times. I know the pain.
Activated charcoal is good for that too.
What's truly sad is the fact that someone can steal your home from you and the cops will prevent you from doing anything about it, yet no one can see who the real enemy is. All it takes is for a small group of people to say enough is enough and they no longer have authority, or else they will lose their lives if they try to assert it. It's all fun and games until the door kickers wake up to a loud bang between 3 to 5 in the morning and the tables have turned.
I have seen that and can confirm that there are quite a few Navy Seals out there that don't know a lot about Firearms...crazy as that sounds.

In the UK the police don't investigate actual crime anymore. I had my bike stolen and this was a while ago. Even when I discovered who had it, the police did nothing. I had to recover it myself from some neighbours who clearly didn't know it was my bike. They had no worries that the police would do anything.
All government so called services in the UK don't work anymore despite receiving vast amounts of funds. National health service? Completely disfunctional.

There is or was a difference between squatting an empty property and seizing ownership of an empty property. There was a time when squatting meant temporarily occupying an abandoned building with emphasis on "Abandoned" not simply vacant, and there was a time squatters cooperated with the land owner. I got food poisoning once and my naturopath gave me activated charcoal...every 45min until symptoms subsided...it was AMAZING..back in the day my Mom says every school nurse had buckets of charcoal for upset tummies ...I used the kind made from coconut hulls...I carry it with me now everywhere ;) (remedies loads of ailments)

I live up on a hill at the end of a 1/2 mile private lane here in rural western PA - I am surrounded by thousands of acres of private land, with the lane being the only access. I am in the process of fencing my entire 12 acres, and am installing a gate about halfway up the road. We have two German Shepherds ....No one is stealing my car.

I felt like I was dying yesterday too.
I don't mean I thought it likely, but I had a horrific cold.
Times like that always remind me of similarly very bad sicknesses, and that reminds me of the fragility of life.
One day, you're going along, business as usual, and the next day, you can barely breathe or move.
That sort of thing gets me to thinking of all the countless people who were suddenly struck down in the midst of their lives.
Like people who got the jab.
I was always terrible about making long term plans, because I saw life as a short-term deal.
When I was a kid, I suffered terrible afflictions at times. During the heat of summer, I would have something like an allergic reaction to the heat. My body would be covered with flaming hot and itchy blisters. Even trying to lay down in bed was painful because anything that touched my body felt like fire. At times like that, I wanted to die for relief.
It seemed like I almost always had headaches when I was a kid, but frequently they would get so bad I wanted to die for relief.
I had a couple of near-death experiences too, and the best thing about those was the releasing of all the pain, like laying down to the most complete rest I had ever had.
Death is relief.
Even our blood pressure keeps us under pressure.
The release of our blood pressure feels like the ultimate relaxation.
Anyway, a bad sickness is a time to reassess long term goals and think of the vanity of so many things.
I may not put much store in long term goals, but they accumulate like the stuff in your pockets.
I also had the notion that society encourages people to make vain and foolish long-term goals in so many ways.
"In America even you can be president." Not likely.
And there is the almost entirely fraudulent rags-to-riches story.
The ghetto kids dreaming of being basketball stars.
"If you work very hard and make lots of sacrifices, you might eventually get something."
We know it doesn't work that way, and what prevents thieves from taking what you have worked for so long and hard?
I liked the way Jesus promoted a radical break with the world and all its "rewards".
We are not to be concerned about what we will wear or eat tomorrow, and we are to focus our minds and hearts on things that can't be taken by thieves, like experience, awareness, understanding, joy, love, and even rest.
The sorts of things that are always abundantly available.
Why isn't joy or rest always experienced?
Because the world keeps selling a cornucopia of desires.
It's relentless.

It's getting the same way here in QLD Australia, in particular the regional areas, I moved house a couple of years ago and my first night in my new place I could hear someone moving about under the house no doubt scoping out my vehicles. I keep nothing in my cars. If they even think about breaking into my house they will be leaving in a body bag.

@@lindamatus4429nobody know what it is unless you're the one hacking into it. Unless you have some kind of close call capture device to monitor all the RF in the area, you can't say what it was. More than likely the fob was needed, at some point, in the process of capturing the signal to emulate it later (for older models). The process is more complex with newer fobs, because the signal is different every time.
They can with older fobs, like most garage door openers, they use the same signal every time. It makes it easy to record the signal and send out later. Unless somone has a master list, or brute force code generator, I don't see how else they could open a door with out the fob. If it was a brute force type signal generator, you would have many cars in the area being unlocked, starting, panic alarms going off, garage doors opening, wireless door bells ringing, etc..

Ken, love your work my friend. Sending you Love. One of our family work trucks were stolen just before Halloween last year 23’. Took forever for PD to show up after dozens of calls. I spread the word to every contractor/friend etc. eventually approximately 5 days later Halloween night my father and I found it. The police just happened to be in the parking lot driving around then parked a few vehicles away. I walked up and asked what they are doing then pointed to it and said you know that’s stolen. They literally had no clue. I took the truck back and tracked down the owner of another vehicle next to it. Literally did the police departments job. Then they asked me to call dispatch to have it removed from stolen vehicle list. It’s insane buddy. We are on our own. The thieves must have shit themselves later going to pick it up.

I googled how to do this for my car after seeing the post. It seems each manufacturer has a certain method to deactivate the feature.
For my car it days to get inside, turn key to accessory, hold down the unlock button on my door panel for 5 seconds, then also press the lock button on the panel then release.
Hate to hear that you had it rough these days. All the ER would have done is administer fluids, so I'm sure you took care of that. Food poisoning feels hideous! Here in Texas we have had some squatter stories. If someone tries that with me and my hubby they will find our pew-pew in their face. I know quite a few people where if someone decides to squat on their property, they aren’t even planning on alerting the police. They plan to “deal with it” quietly.. And most have property and a few shovels..

Hi Ken, Englishman here, live near Manchester. Speaking to a guy the other day who works in a Spar shop (kinda like a 7/11 in the US) and they've had so many thefts occur that certain items like coffee have been taken off the shelf and replaced with an empty jar, the customer has to take the empty jar of whichever brand they would like to purchase to the till and the cashier will go into the back and fetch a full jar out for the customer. Another store I frequent called Farmfoods have now employed a full time security guard as the number of thefts were getting insane. We sure live in turbulent times eh.
Those thieves got some balls out there in the US, considering lot's of you guys Packing pew pews. I laughed 😂 when ken said that a Thief would be in a real world of hurt being caught robbing in rural Kentucky.... ❤

2-300$ police aint gonna do anything. I talked to a DA out here in Cali for an issue and they said unless it was >$80,000 they don't care. You got a lot of skills you should be making more money TBH. I sympathize 100%. I had Food poisoning from Taco Bell once. I thought I was gonna die.
Glasses of Tang saved me. It was the only thing I could keep down and it kept me from dehydrating while my gut was busy sorting out the mess.

I had my car robbed a few years ago and it happened while I was also dreadfully sick. I left some stuff that shouldn't have been in my car and paid for it. I was so carried away with going inside to sleep off my sickness that I totally forgot about emptying the car out.
Whilst I was learning about non dualism I had major food poisoning from a Turkey jerkey 🤮🤮,and water wouldn’t go down for 2 days .Pure hell but it helped me depart the spirit on the path of liberation and mystical realization

When enough people have nothing left to lose all hell will break loose. Society is so broken headed now that even though you know you have to lower your expectations I sometimes find it very difficult to maintain a calm demeanor when out in public. Thieves and squatters are the worst. I know that feeling of being shaking mad all too well. I'm glad I no longer own a firearm. I switched to kukri for self defence. Silent but deadly. On a lighter note: Indian food is one of my favs. Hope you get to go out and enjoy some good eats and recalibrate.
This is true and TPTB won’t stop until all breaks. Stupidity on there part and I fear for all that will be hurt when happens. I’ve become very short-tempered over the last four years and I stay home at these times to not say or do something regretful. I’d hope life will return to somewhat normal, but too much damage has been done.
