  • How much responsibility do you take for your breakup?
Yep, that’s a tough question and probably a bit of a touchy subject. But it’s an important one, especially if what you want is to heal from the often uncomfortable and painful experience of transitioning out of a partnership. We sometimes tend to avoid the painful truth’s of our own part in what went “wrong” because, let’s face it, it’s so much easier to pass the blame then face the shadows in ourselves. However, when we do this we actually miss a huge opportunity for growth and expansion, as well as healing and forgiveness.
In this week’s podcast, I talk about why you SHOULD blame yourself for your breakup. Though it may sound a little off when you first hear it, I talk about how to face the responsibility you have in the end of a partnership and how it can help you actually acknowledge the growth that you’ve done by just realizing your part in it.
Do you desire to move more smoothly through painful relationship experiences? I invite you to listen in to my musing this week.

Thanks Adam. I really needed to hear this. It’s really hard but I’m trying to move forward. I still wish I had a Time Machine to give my earlier self an inkling as to what happened but hey, it is what it is and here we all are.
    Thanks for this though.

This is so true. I only started dealing with my break up when I started accepting my part in the whole scenario. This whole process took me 3 years. Thank you Adam for sharing with me. I think I can start applying this to some other relationships that did not work out either.

I love this, thank you Adam 🙏🏼💗. Yesterday I wrote a letter to someone that I dated 24 years ago....thanking him for our time together in that chapter of our lives...I went back and listened to the music that was connected to him and allowed myself to experience the feelings brought up after all this time, the memories....all range of emotions, but mostly deep gratitude and love for those years and experiences. Perfect timing for this podcast!!! 💗 Releasing it all to the Universe with love. Deepest gratitude to you Adam.

Thank you for this video. So far, I kept blaming myself for everything and then my defense activates and I start to over-blame my ex to balance it out. Starting today, I will try this and just embrace self-blaming. To help myself grow for better tomorrow. Thank you!❤️

that's a great video, however, I don't understand still - so many actions behind journaling, blaming, meditating, burring under the tree - why not discuss it with the person? You have come to this realization, you did the growth, you see that in some way it was for the good, why not sharing this with your ex? Maybe there could be a turning point for both of you
