13 years flew by. ABR was by far a big part of my development with my conflicted self. I used to get such a rush from hearing these songs; they're still so very powerful with wonderful execution. Its funny to look back; I am doing much better now!
This song literally saved my life, showed me there's more to life than myself. You will always hold a special place in my heart ABR, God bless you guys
ABR are without doubt one of the very few bands that excel in a medium that has been taken over by hacks. I'm not a Christian, but I hear what they have to say on a philosophical level. Awesome stuff!
this morning i was playin this song in my head, and having tears of joy saying its so beautiful. i was checked into the hospital for alchohol poisoning and i feel that this song is what kept me conscious throughout the hole thing. i wanted to pass out but when, i would play in my head the im tired and i swear to you part, id feel like i need to stay awake for just a little bit longer.. i love you so much august burns red, thank you. your lyrics and words are so inspiring.

so if you can change the pitch on your comp, try to throw it down by 1. basically drop B and almsot think all of their songs from this album sound better like that. almost seems like it was meant to be in drop b.
@blackguy1919 Well actually they're just a metalcore band with members who are Christian. A lot like A Day To Remember too. Even if there is a message in any of their lyrics its nothing more than standing up for yourself and getting past struggles in life. They understand that religion is not something that should encompass any part of the music they play. That's what "worship bands" are for. Like I know bands like Hillsong United or david crowder band and I respect them tho I'm an atheist...
