Congratulations, Kimberly. I'm going into my 3rd year of being cancer free from stage 4 Hodgkins lymphoma. I'm still battling my cystic fibrosis and chronic pancreatitis daily, but I'm glad to be cancer free because my pancreatitis didn't like chemo. Chemo put me in the hospital for a week every 2 weeks after my chemo treatments, which was no fun and very painful. So congratulations on being can Cancer free, and I hope you are living a good, fun life.
I call cancer the gift that keeps on giving...sarcastically of course. It's left me battling primary lyphedema from the waist down. And my entire pelvic region was over-radiated causing multiple health issues.
Reaching 7 yrs for cervical cancer means I'm officially a survivor. It's very rare for my cancer to return after 7 yrs.
Congratulations on beating yours. Stay strong. 😊

BTW was that the Odies I could smell when I opened the box? That stuff does smell amazing. I wish I could pinpoint it, but it was several things combined that smelled like an old fashioned candy from before all the artificial crap of today.

@@countreegirl Congratulations on 8 months. And you are right nothing can prepare you. That battle made me a far stronger person, though. I think the hardest part for me has been accepting that I'm a cancer patient for life. And for me and many other survivors cancer leaves behind reminders that it was there.

First time seeing this video. Came out beautiful ❤. Wish i was able to do something similar to this for my mom, we lost her mom, my grandma to pancreas cancer 😢 a few years ago. So happy to hear people beating it.

Teal and white is also for cervical cancer. Which is what I had. January is the month for cervical cancer.

I have no idea on the difference of white. And yes it was cervical cancer and she kicked it’s butt 😃
@glitznglitterbymichelle1 I was lucky. If my annual appointment had been the next month who knows? It went from pre-cancer to stage 1 cancer in just a month. And my pap from that appointment came back clean.
@@VickyShawcooksalot I got lucky too. Mine was caught stage 2a. But I was unlucky too. Endometriosis scar tissue had fused my colon and uterus. They refused to resect my colon, said I was too young at 45, so no hysterectomy. I had to have the normal treatments, plus internal radiation, plus a second round of regular radiation. All that radiation caused other side effects like primary lymphedema from my waist down and it cut the communication line from my bladder to my brain. I now have an artificial communication device called an interstem in my back and I do lymphedema therapy every single day.
I'm glad yours was caught early.
@kdscraftcorner I was told with all the endometriosis scarring that a hysterectomy was better. That the tumor was completely contained in the uterus. She wanted to remove it before it spread. Ovaries went too.
