John it is great to see you up on you tube again, being in Southern Tasmania and relatively new to growing vegetables getting a Tasmanian perspective is so appreciated. Knowing through watching and listening someone actually in the same State rather than reading from general info which doesn’t always turn out well when put into practice.
I understand the time it takes to do these videos but know you are appreciated.
Glad to see Cherokee Purple getting a run this year! It's a favourite for us, the favour is fantastic
Hi John great video I am in NW Tassie and also get my seeds from southern harvest so far so good I am fairly new to veggie gardening and your videos are a great source of information thanks for sharing your tips
Great to see how the garden is in winter.
How blessed are you to live in Tassie. We get frosts here in South Aus I grow great broccoli broad beans, collard greens, onions, spring onions, snow peas, sugar snap and podding peas, carrots, garlic and parsnips in winter. I cover some things like my peas on frosty nights but the rest tough it out. We have a couple of rainy weeks with daytime temperatures of 11 to 14
Great work again mate 👍 🇦🇺
yayyy.love your videos! cheers from Sydney 😊Hows your wife & your son going❤
All well, thanks!
Hi John
How do you store your potatoes in the cellar?
Hi John, your neighbour across the strait here. I wonder why you don't have caulies at this time of the year. There was one nasty frosty night (below zero) here and a few of them suffered this year but, usually they are OK; you have a greenhouse, so shouldn't be a problem at all. I never succeeded with broccolis - mostly leaves.
I only sowed a batch of onion this month and tried to sow some radish too - probably in vain.
Thank you for your video.
I simply missed the window for planting cauliflower - I find it trickier to get a good crop from than broccoli!
Great video John, thank you. South East Melbourne here. We just had the last of our cauliflowers tonight actually...au gratin 😊
I have broccoli growing..bit slow...and snow peas. Leeks, silverbeet also.
