Very nice work! :D It's funny how one of those things that sounds so simple like rotating is actually super complex and quite annoying but glad you're getting somewhere with it! Looking forward to more! :D
I reckon camera and object rotation is essential to an iso building game like yours. I'm glad you were able to work at it and mostly understand and overcome the challenges 😁
Looking good so far. Rotation should make it easier to build with small objects. Out of curiosity, have you seen Simon Foster's videos on making the Rollercoaster Tycoon I and II sprites? Edit: I see the stanchion in the preview really wants to be seen.
I like your solutions to the rotation. Now in retrospect, do you feel that the additional complexity and content you now have to deal with is worth the effort? Is it more fun? It's a question I'm constantly asking myself when I'm doing big changes. Good luck with pixel mania!
Thanks Rob! I am terrible at asking myself these kind of questions. I often get into the mindset that game engine features don't need to be fun but practical. Only once they work well can you create something fun. On the flip side having a fun game is key and I am looking forward to being able to pivot the development to chase the fun. I am especially excited about how the devlogs about it will work.
Nice work buddy 👏 Excellent !!! Let's go....❤❤❤
Thank you Naf

Thank you Saul! I'm glad it's coming along too.
Really cool! Love how something that sounds rather easy, can still be complicated to achieve
Thank you Shelf! It's been fun working it out, although I must admit I am itching to add content.
Your devlogs are becoming better and better day by day, congrats! :)
Thank you, Tudvari! It's also more fun to make them. 😄
insane how much work it can be to be able to rotate objects. Great to see the progression on the game! :)
It's more work than I originally thought but more fun too. Thank you Valentine!

Absolutely! Thank you Payper!
It's TURNING~ into a great game for sure :D
😆 Thank you Neat!
Great video! Nice solution. Great progress. Need I say more. Keep it up!
Thank you Mr Moo. Really appreciate it!
Nice work! Well explained and well edited!
Thank you so much!
Great Work. Sounds complicated and a lot of work. But it will pay off in the end for sure.
Cheers! It'll definitely increase my workload when it comes to art but I'm ok with that.
Yay math :D Rotated items/world is a great addition!
Hurray! Thanks Garrett

Thank you Adam! I haven't seen that video. I shall add it to my watchlist. It sounds great!
