Have never been the same since I had covid. It causes massive inflammation throughout the body, lungs, cardiovascular and central nervous system. I began to connect all the dots of health ailments I began to have after covid. Within a couple months my eyes became sensitive to light and began to get tinnitus. Additionally, I ended up a frozen shoulder and had terrifying vertigo. Then I lost hair on my legs and the area became numb in both legs. Seems like bilateral peripheral neuropathy. I am definitely do for a visit to the neurologist.

I got Covid last November 22nd. Starting December 2 it gave me migraines with visual auras and at times vertigo and brain fog. My primary care physician put me on topirimate twice a day to control the migraines, but I’m still having them regularly. I’ve had 4 in the past 6 days. Seems like this isn’t going to end. I’m extremely sensitive to light and noise, both of which will trigger a migraine.

This is a really awesome encouraging video. I do want to say though, I was fully vaccinated when I got Covid19 and still, two years later, I have neurological symptoms. When I was healthy before, I'm now on 9 rx medications to manage the damage Covid19 did to my nervous and immune system, and working with my PCP and neurologist to manage it. I'm really not convinced this is "fixable" at this point, just manageable.

I went to a community accupuncture place for them. I still get some swelling in my occipital area but it is improved. This has been a factor with the headaches. I also went to a physical therapist who did needless accupuncture. That helped. But i felt depressed after that - Im not sure why. The needle-based community accupuncture was the best experience. I have not used any harsh medicines like gabapentin the whole time as I wanted to avoid being incapacitated and dependent on these. I really feel the needle-based accupuncture helped. You could add the needless version but Id recommend doing both or just the needle-based accupuncture. I hope all is well for you.

@@joseluistorres5785 I experienced headaches most days at first. Anytime I went to the chiropracter, I was all out of sorts and slow in sensory perception. As soon as I went for accupuncture, the headaches grew less frequent and my recovery time if I re injured myself grew faster. I went for several accupuncture treatments, m assage, and physical therapy and it took about a year but I only once in a while get headaches. I can still re injure myself if I try jumping jacks or anything where my head is bobbing or jerking so I still am avoiding these things and any high intensity like workouts. I still get sore muscles but I can pick up a pan and not drop it now. I am certain there was edema resulting from the injury and having that in the occipital and neck area really added to complications so the accupuncture and massage greatly helped reduce that and I think that's part of its effectiveness. What about yourself?

I should mention, it wasn't cheap, but I was willing to do/pay whatever I had to. Here is what I did:
      1) H1 + H2 Blockers (allegra + pepcid ac) - Make sure you use regular 24 hour non-drowsy allegra.
      2) Vitamin course from this video: ua-cam.com/video/9-3V3h0ncIA/v-deo.html
      3) Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy - 15 Sessions in hard chamber. Many wellness clinics offer this. Approx $4000 total spent.
      4) Brain Retraining Therapy - I've started to see more and more long haulers mention this. ME/CFS sufferers also have had good results. Here is the video that sold me: ua-cam.com/video/iSEgDzlRlI4/v-deo.html You'll want to use a coach for this. Prices range from $1-3K. Results seem to start within 2 weeks and peak after a couple months.
For what its worth, those steps have returned me to a functional state. I'm not 100% yet, but I feel a little stronger every week. I tested positive for COVID sept 1, 2021. The only remaining symptoms I experience are neurological. I guess I have what you call a tension headache. It feels like I'm wearing a hat 2 sizes too small. Also get light-headedness sometimes, but not serious enough to be in danger of falling. I think I heard you suggest that this can be treated with steroids like prednisone, is this correct? Do these symptoms eventually end on their own or do you recommend early treatment? How long is "long haul"? I live in San Diego. Can you suggest a referral in the UCSD Health system that I can make an appointment with to discuss my mild symptoms?

My 17 year old son contracted Covid in August of this year. It was a mild case, no worse than severe allergies. Now he keeps complaining of headaches everyday or vertigo. Most of the time he usually wakes up with a headache, sometimes he wakes up without the headache but complains that he is dizzy instead. We have ran him through the mill with doctors including an MRI and everything comes back as being normal. He was and I believe still is a normal healthy young man, but his condition is effecting his schooling and his work. What do you suggest?
