AUSSIE: Another east coast low + more rain for the SW of WA
Вставка
- Опубліковано 2 чер 2024
- The east coast low that fell apart at the weekend will reform again this week and has the potential to drive in another burst of heavy rain to a narrow area south of Sydney. This rainfall area may still move around a bit. Rain sets in this week for coastal NSW and even pushes into the A.C.T for a time.
For WA a storm in the Southern Ocean will send a burst of windy nor’westers back into the south-western corner again this week and another burst of rain coming in for the weekend. It won’t affect the northern half of WA in any significant way.
Showers continue on for SA, VIC, TAS but rainfall totals are low than the past week (but a few surprises here and there inland).
And finally QLD, sunshine spreads further afield this week and weekend as a light sou’west flow removes most traces of cloud and allows plenty of sunny, clear, sky weather to develop.
See you again for our next update for Australia on Thursday at WeatherWatchTV here on UA-cam. - Розваги
I can't believe I've got to rely on a Kiwi for the best Aussie weather report 😂 You're a legend, Phil
True that. And he’s got the same name as me cousin. Easy to remember
So refreshing to get a good quality weather forecast. The stations around AU seem to see it as a boring chore.
this is the best weatherman. Best maps. from what i've seen over the year of watching these have been accurate predictions. I'm a south east queenslander.
Phil you are my main weatherman you give good comprehensive reports for Australia which is where I live, keep up the fantastic informed weather you give your Aussie friends😊
Thanks Phil, I’m new to your site, I found it recently.
I’m a weather watcher, it’s like a hobby for me. I usually just use our BOM, which is very good, for my information, I rarely take notice of telly or media forecasts, I find them to be too cartoony and overdone.
Weather Watch however, I find well explained and comprehensive, your maps are easy to read and you do a fantastic job running us through it all, much better than anything else we have available locally in Perth W.A. Cheers Shane.
Thank you Phil. Stay safe and warm. Aussie Jeff Moore
Thanks, mate. Very chilly in Brisbane this morning, but lots of sunshine!
She is nippy out Ippy way. Sun is nice for the plants though
@@freedom_born I could see my exhaled breath at 1am. I haven't seen that in a while. Nice.

Bloody heck. I'm away with the fairies by that time. 🤣
Hope you're enjoying the weather mate, Phil reminded me winter hits on Saturday. Lol "hot-water bottles" time.
Cheers Phil :)
Thank you Phil. Hoping for more rain ☔️ but having faith it will come😂❤
Lovin' your action Phil. Such good info. Thankyou!
Love your work Phil. Long time Aussie viewer first time poster.
Fantastic as always, thank you.
WAHHOOO!! 😃 Cairns Here ... We're Finally gonna get a Dry Season. 👍👍👍
*WOW!* Phil I asked you for more rain in the central wheat belt...and you've delivered! LOL! Cheers Pam Tom's wife
Thanks for the sunshine in Qld this week. That's more like the way it should be. :)
Great to see WA southern regions get a bit moisture, and Qld gets a few days away from rain. The weather gods maintain a bit of justice, balance up the scales etc.
Thanks for sharing. East Gippsland
Thanks from Tasmania
Ya don’t need a wee drop tonight!👍👍🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷👍👍👍
Thank you ❤
just found this channel in the last week. Absolutely amazing!
Thanks for turning the music down
Hi Phil Cape York 32c No winter here
Thank you from the west coast
Thanks. Like the coloured temperature map you started with, would be good to see how that evolves over a week.
Thanking you WW team! Fabulous job as usual! Getting nippy now 5C this am but glorious days 20C. Love winter! Greetings from Mallanganee nsw.
Thanks, Phil, I might need my wet weather gear TM, better pack it in my bag before I forget.
Thanks phil, you're a legend mate!
At last some blue sky for coastal NSW/ Queensland border!! We have been under grey wet sky’s for months with only the odd day here and there without rain!! So great news of some clear blue sky’s hopefully our paddocks can start to dry up abit!!! Great channel! The best weather forecast!!
Thank you for your expertise Phil, well explained and very detailed as usual, great work.
You do a lovely forecast
Thank you
Ozzie ❤️❤️❤️zz ya!
Thanks Phil
Rain we do need especially in victoria
I think the rain gods have gone awol!
We desperately need it here in SA too! Our crops are in so now we're really needing the rains to come......we've had next to nothing.
Will review this in a few days to see
I have *never* yet seen Phil wrong! You can bet money on his forecasts. The BOM is only good for the Doppler map to tell me how far off the rain is.
Pam Tom's wife
Adelaide keeps missing out!!!! Highs are blocking the rain from the West!!!! Where is the June Rain?
Ka nui te pai Phil. Thank you.
Spot on with your forecasts Phillip 😉..54mls in total over last wkend at Leadville, NSW 🎉
Thank's phill, good as usual. Cheer's from, Sunny Coast, Qld.
Sunny Coast? Yesterday and today?🤣
These wet systems for the east coast keep arriving just in time for the weekend 😥😥
That's true and always on the long weekends.
I love this channel.
But what’s the point of the
Rainfall - departure from normal chart?
Sydney must have the most rain in the country
What is the red squiggly line across the top end?
That’s the old winter pattern. Perth was always dry in summer with beautiful summers and winter was cold and rained lots. Same with all the states in line with southern WA. Why does everyone think this is unusual or wrong. ……???????
Next update 10/6/24
Your wrong as longreach central QLD had some big down pours and farmers in QLD welcome the heavy rain
How to know what type of hat to wear, you book an expensive hotel on the Gold Coast.
All I'm seeing is Micallef's Milo Kerrigan doing the weather, but somehow educated and with a kiwi accent...
Yes, I can feel the cold, and it was so hard to get up this morning also I am struggling to even stay warm so that if it wasn't for the cost of electricity I would have my heating on. Mind you I am rugged up now & with a blanket over my knees but It is still under 15C so our coldest day so far& so not a nice way to start winter!! So a typical cold winters day from Cranebrook, western Sydney. My friend lives in Glen Innes on the northern tablelands so I imagine she is freezing today but then she may have the advantage of a wood stove.
Not too cold in Glen Innes yet… been pretty warm so far for Glen.
