It is crazy indeed! Its high time people realized that having dozens of luxury bags wont make them happier. The more they get the more they want and it never stops. Its just ridiculous!

@Wildunfiltered of course you do otherwise you wouldn't purchase them. It an addiction. Getting a new bag makes you feel happy so you want more. But is it the fact of getting a new bag that makes you happy or using it? That's what you need to ask yourself.

I respect your decision. If you had to shop your closet the rest of your life, you would be one lucky girl! I'm trying to buy as many bags as I can while I'm still working(within reason of course). Once I retire, the bag buying days shall be over. When you do shop your closet, be sure to include a what's in your bag, or how/you style your bag video. I would love it. Can't wait to see some of the new temptations out in 2025!!
I hear you loud and clear. I really need to cool it next year and use what I have. My collection has grown to a number I’m not comfortable with but there are very few things I’d want to sell.

I haven’t brought mono for a long time, I really only consider almost non branded LV bags now (I even wear my cap flaps out).
I was overseas recently and stumbled upon a tiny store where a woman artisan was hand making original bags using true Hermes stitching and techniques. A bag takes her 3-5 days depending on complexity, and cost between 500-2000 depending on skin. CITES are supplied for exotics. It was incredible to watch! Completely customized, zero branding. And then I had a moment of clarity. If I’m not buying for the brand, what am I doing? Quality is in the trash compared to 15 years ago, prices have gone mad. My first custom designed ostrich bag is in progress!! We communicate daily and I get pictures and videos during the whole process to ensure it is exactly what I want. I even got a photographic tour of the exotic skin market and offered around 100 different ostrich choices. Incredible! Can’t wait to see the finished piece 💗💗💗

I love all the bags I bought (with couple of exceptions) so I’m not sad I just want to hone my collection this coming year. I def want to use my bags more now that I have a really good mix of bags x
@ I don’t regret my purchases either with one more still to come 😉 but I have bought one and sold it in the same year, but I needed to try it so no regrets ❤️

I feel the same. I didn’t sell or donate this year but did buy many bags. It does need to stop. There is one SLG I’d like. And maybe 1 from a specific collection, but I don’t have any “gaps” in my collection except for bags I’d never use or have good alternatives (a bright color, a fancy clutch). I’d like to see videos of you enjoying each specific bags and when you used it.

OMG 😮 , SAME !!! Last year the relatively small amount of disposable income I had was going on one bag after another !!! Although I enjoyed the ' hunt ' I am soooo tired and want to FINALLY get to a stage where I am actually using AND ENJOYING them , and actually getting them OUT more , that was the whole point of getting them , after all 😂😂 !! It's so funny how the thrill of the chase can blind us to other perhaps more important things , like getting together with family or friends , I guess it's a hangover from the pandemic 😭 , we got used to being alone online !! On a plus it's so reassuring when you actually start appreciating our bags for the quality , feel and functionality once you start actually using them , you fall in love with them all over again ! 🙏 💕💕💕

Hey Deb! I hear you loud and clear. I bought a bit much myself this year and realized I really need to focus on functionality and quality and not to get the FOMO. When I added up the $$ I was shocked at how much I did spend…..so no more buying bags just because they are cute and are trending. I am actively not going to buy the new LV Multicolor that is coming out. I realized I always thought I might add one to my collection but now that they are doing these re-issues the specialness is gone for me. Thats just my take on the new collection. I have around 45 bags and it’s just too many. My goal in 2025 is to get it down to 35 real keepers. BTW I do think you will get a call from Hermes next year. I am noticing that all the lux bag ladies with UA-cam channels are getting in-store offers so your will be coming I am sure. My two cents!

Excellent points! I read the comments and many of us are in the same position. Bright blue, orange, purple and green jewel tones are "missing" from my collection. But it's exhausting thinking of getting which ones to get. First world problems that are not a priority.

I absolutely agree with everything you’ve said. I too need to stop. I have an amazing bag collection and I can’t possibly carry them all. So I have bags that don’t get used much but I love them all. I just need to enjoy what I’ve got and not keep looking to buy new bags to add to my collection. That’s just silly.

The thing with certain bags is, if you don’t buy them then and there. What happens is, if you pause, then to decide to get it, it will be not only out of stock, buy nigh on impossible to find.

Next time you’re in LV just look around at the clientele. Nothing at all to aspire to be. Working class people spending excessive amounts of money to fool no one.
For me it's the thrill of buying the bag that is my downfall. Once I have my bag i am looking for my next one. I have 4 Hermes plus Louis Vuittons and Chanels I love them all but I'm always looking for my next thrill of the purchase.

Completely quenching desire is nigh near impossible. Bags do make me happy and it's legal(!), but I know it's invariably temporary. However, I temper my desire in two ways. 1. I wait a month before buying. 2. I think that if I save, when I pass, I will have more money to leave to loved ones and more money to give to charities. ❤

Joseph Duclos certainly is an interesting under the radar brand, although after Taylor Swift and 2 French First Ladies have worn their bags it’s getting some traction. I can’t wait to see your content on that. BTW What do you think of Faure le page?

I think having this channel (and your enabling friends 😂) has you spending more than what you would ordinarily. A reason I watch all these channels is because I feel I too could be friends with you all but there’s no way I’d want to spend so much on bags. It’s safer not having a channel 😂 . I once added up in $$$ all the luxe purchases I made in a year and was appalled, realised how silly a spend it was and put limits on myself, but I’m happy to watch others do it and maybe it’s not so silly for them 🤷🏻♀️.

This is yet another youtuber who is having buyers remorse and making statement that she will stopping or reduced shopping when there are few bags on her way....oh this old story...look at ur youtube friends they have this kind of video awhile ago and yet just after few weeks they alot pile of stuff to unbox...i know it is part of ur job to unbox but why make statement when u cannot even reduce the items u brought and keep spending same amount of stuff......i hope ur successful because all the people who are telling this in utube only few really got successful like kathleen and one utuber in usa which is not in ur circle of youtube "friends".
It’s not buyers remorse. More that I want to hone my collection now I have a really good mix of bags. So will be looking at more specific things rather than a larger quantity x
I believe in quality over quantity. I preferred your collection before you started selling quality pieces (Hermes, Chanel) to finance multiple lower-end used bag purchases (Speedy, Alma) costing around $1,000. It's good to see you've come to your senses and will be going back to your roots.
Think I’ve got it out of my system. I don’t regret any bags I’ve sold but I want to just keep to quality pieces now x
