D’Jeeco is such a wonderful all-around silverback. He seems to do everything right when it comes to managing his troop. He’s an exceptionally emotionally intelligent gorilla from what I’ve seen. And every single member of his family adores him! 🦍♥️
Easily one of the most intelligent, family-oriented silverbacks out there! Also he has such a mild and consistent personality compared to many of the other intelligent silverbacks.

@@mmaphilosophy Yes, the climbing structure and computers for learning and stimulation are good, but the outdoors is dismal,; dry, barren, dusty, lacks greenery and grassy areas to lay/sit upon, and a nice hut to take cover in when it rains would be wonderful, when they must remain outside. The zoo may not be able to alter the size of the gorilla’s space, but they can surely make it more comfortable. They are beautiful animals and deserve so much more in the way of a stimulating and comfortable habitat.
You are so right! Momo family lives without hardly any room or foliage. Momo's family looks pretty bored then it progresses to irritation, eventually depression. If Zoos take on the challenge of caring for Gorillas they should have to meet some regulation for space and imitating natural habitat!!

Great video. A silverback is routinely asked to put down squabbles between wives and children. Some are better than others. This was perfect. Not too violent or allowing it to escalate further. The younger sister is so headstrong and jealous it’s amazing they don’t have more battles. He must be amazingly handsome to females. He is the only silverback being filmed where the females constantly sit next to him and don’t avoid his presence.
What a great husband and dad! When stopped the quarrel stood like mountain between the both wives. When son approached and mocking like hitting his dad, fondly appreciated in love. Not showing the anger with son too. She also understood the the gravity of the situation, silently took another route to go away from the husband!
My beautiful Iriki allows her sister to be abused to some extent, but she is a strong and intelligent gorilla with a sweet temper. Tayari is more mischievous in her ways and that's why she gets into trouble. I love these two girls.😍😍😍😍🦍🦍
Tayari is very much like her mom Gyasi was quirky to. Seems Tayari starts most of the fights an DJeeco knows it cause she seems to get all of his bites an body shakes lo. She’s possessive of DJeeco
Suggest the zoo to provide more climbing or viewing rocks for Tayari to explore and vent out her extra energy and her curiosity and playfulness. She needs more stimulant to divert instead of venting on her sister. Thumb up to D'Jeeco for the super quarrel management in a peaceful way

Iriki crouched down at the entrance,propped her foot up all nonchalantly like she just came to hang out, the whole time shes filling her whole hand up with Mushy green poop. I bet she threw her poop at tayari to get her back. Thats exactly what Genki and a lot of other Gorilla’s do when they get mad at a Member in their troop/family. But of course right when she’s finished pooing and about to make a move, that’s the moment they decide to stop the video. Those girls are a trip with their constant rivalry.

Iriki, not amused, came flying out, mouth wide, teeth bared (no doubt screaming), landed a few whaps, backing Tay into the ditch. DJ was on it from the get-go, passing by Iriki‘s shoulder, mouth also open, growling?, after Tay over the cliff, giving her what couldn‘t have been more than rap on the head, then turned a hard stare right into Iriki‘s face, ‘‘Unt-ah, it’s over. Go cool off.‘‘ . . . and in case you darlings don’t understand, I’m going to stand here like a boulder until you both go quietly back to your knitting!
