they thought differently about the show than westerners , in the west its a pure "Win" mentality, in japan it was more a "show" mentality, so they would give fighters a year long contrasct ending usually in a tournament or similar. in that way the fightters got a lot of fights , win some, lose some, but still be around if someone got hurt and they needed a replacement on the spot. u dont see that in ufc much.

Ray was like the Roy Jones of kickboxing. Godmode in the Light and Cruiserweights but just gave up too much of an advantage to very best of the heavyweights. No doubt he gave them a run for their money and became a legend in his own right but a great big fighter is usually going to win over the great smaller fighters.
Sefo is an great instinctive fighter, naturally gifted, very quick hands and defense, but the only problem is that he loses focus during the fight, and gets distracted. If he had the 3 round intensity of Bonjasky and Hari, he would have won a lot more.

GRECO seems to be more tactic and waits opportunities to shoot his nice combos. SEFO seems to be great at defense skills, but not enough good to attack GRECO with more than fast low-kicks. GRECO was too "shy", even when SEFO was absolutely off-guard every 5 minutes ! Of course, SEFO could use his off-guard as a tactic to try his best counterattacking GRECO, but nothing happened.
I am a huge fan of Sefo but Greco clearly deserved to be winner. If Sefo was interested on his fight skills rather than taunting he would have better chance to win.
As much as I enjoy the UFC, I so miss seeing the K-1 and PRIDE fights that came around on PPV. I think I understand what Rogan refers to when he mention fighters with K-! striking ability. If I could Hybrid a a UFC HW fighter, first thing would be to have the striking skills as seen in this video. Just to withstand kicks like that is an amazing tallent / skill
