Captain lee had a soft spot for Rachel. He knew she was a talented cook and in one episode he said she might just be the most talented cook hes ever worked with. The soft spot he had for her was because she reminded him of his son who was battling demons and took his life he could see her battling her own he also said that on an episode.

The more I see of this series, the more I come to think of Johnny Cash's song "San Quentin you are a living hell for me", it should be renamed "Luxury yacht you are a living hell for me". It is inhuman working conditions they have, they work 18 hours a day, just to be stopped by the Danish Working Environment Authority. I do not have much sympathy for Shane, but it is inhuman to have to work 18 hours, and he may not be the type who can handle it, I could not myself. And Captain Lee can easily say it's the dream job, but he certainly does not do much and sits and eats with the guests while the girls knuckle. So just that one of the girls had mixed bleach with soap, which develops poison gas, but anyone who is not trained in it can do that. You're not supposed to go to bed crying at a job, so it's not worth the money, that job, I think.
I think Rachel planned a birthday cake for Elizabeth's bday that they're supposed to be celebrating. But she got fired before the dinner and the cake still came and theyre celebrating without elizabeth.
