History of Basketball Jones:
With over 300 camps and over 30,000 kids having gone through our programs since 1996, we take great pride in knowing that we have etched our mark in teaching hoops to California's youth basketball enthusiasts!
Our company started out on the North Coast of California putting on seven camps a year. At that time our slogan was that we were, "Well known throughout the country(side)." and "Have Hoops, Will Travel!"
In 2000 we decided to expand to all of Northern California to put on camps in over 20 cities. Since that time we have condensed the camps to 10 cities and now put on 15-week long camps during our Summer Tour.
By not expanding and actually condensing our camp locations we have not spread ourselves thin like our competitors. This provides us the opportunity to keep our All-Star staff intact for all of our camps. We feel this is the reason why the Hoop Jones experience is so great!
Yes, we are a family affair. The company was founded by three brothers; Ed, Will and Gene Cotter. But the extended family is what we take great pride in. We have had a handful of coaches that have been with us for 10 plus years and are now like folklore to parents of campers because of the, "Bigger than Life", stories their children bring home after camp.
Then there are the signature games that are synonymous with Basketball Jones, such as "Name that Tune", "Get Yo' Money", and the "Friday Future Stars Cereal Bowl Game", just to name a few.
We have been in the basketball camp industry for 25 years and are proud to say there is no trial and error when you attend one of our camps. We can't wait to cater to another 30,000 basketball enthusiasts over the next 25 years!

BASKETBALL JONES HOOP CAMPS - SINCE 1996!
Basketball Jones Hoop Camps is a great avenue for every young basketball player who is looking to improve their basketball acumen.
The Basketball Jones Hoop Camps program meets the needs of all skill levels for any boy or girl between the ages of 6-15.
The camp is from 8AM-4PM with a 7:30AM drop off at no extra cost. During our week-long camp we take great pride in developing and keeping that "LOOPED ON HOOP!" spirit permeating throughout our structured agenda.
