When you start a new game, put a single sim on an empty lot and start building rooms. Like, build a bedroom like this one, go to live mode and tell them to sit on the bed etc. See what works and what doesn't work. They've made positive changes in the last year or so with sims being able to maneuver in just half a tile space instead of needing a full one, you'll learn the "rules of routing" if you just keep experimenting!
I've never done a double bed against the corner but I've read somewhere it wouldn't be functional for 2 sims : ( great build tho! I love the creativity of the item placements ❤❤
how do you stop sims from putting dishes on the surfaces like the "tv stand" which is just a big shelf at that point? is it a mod? i hate that sims do that! and i would totally do stuff like this if i could stop them from putting dishes and cups on the shelves
@@MyaSchmyaBut these cabinets are immediately flipped and snapped to the wall regardless of my cursor. because of this I must to have build a wall, place cabinets on it, put it against the other wall and then remove the wall on which they were hanging. But then they stand out so ugly and it shows. and here you just put them facing a wall without a second wall. And then they fit so nice. this is my question : hoooow

Builders impress me so much, both with their creativity and their ability to remember all the keys that allow these type of placements lol
Right? But I also that they practice/play around with the layout so much that they get muscle memory for the keys!

you'll never know if you don't try, usually I build what I like visually, then playtest it, adjust, test, adjust, until I like it and it works
They don't predict it. It comes with practice. Plus some builders don't build for functionality hahah

they used to not function, but they fixed it sometime last year so now sims can scoot into the corner spot 😁 they just cant woohoo on it lol

(bb.moveobjects) It allows there to be no restrictions as to where you want to place an item 😊
if you hover the cursor over the floor instead of the wall they wont snap to the wall 😊
