Welcome to the Greater Good, Gue'vesa 💫👷🏻♂️
'Once I faced a group of armored Humans that had very little human about them.
Normal Pulse-Rifles did precious little to their armor and their speed, strength and ruthless strategy seemed ... otherworldly.
But we knew of them. We knew how to fight them. We made ready our stand.
And while indeed, their plates were thick and their weapons like thunder. So were ours.
We were ready to clash, we knew our Fusion-Blasters could reduce their precious armor to naught but slag.
But then came the order: Immediate tactical retreat. And so we did.
Afterwards though, I myself asked our Shas'o directly why he gave the order, we could have fought:
"Their numbers and resources are neigh infinite ... ours are not. ... When they are ready to deploy ... them, believe me, worse is to follow."
-"We could have taken that as well."
"Yes, but as I said, their numbers and resources are neigh infinite, ours are not."
-"Forgive me great Shas'o, but how are we ever to expand our Empire then?"
"We are not, and if so, then we must think thrice about it. Here, we are just defending what we have."
...
I could not accept that.
I refused to.
So I dared to do something, that few Tau would even dream about.
...
When we had the honor of having an Ethereal address us with a speech, I rose from the masses and shouted:

"Heavenly One! I beg of you, answer this: How can we ever hope to withstand the cruel forces of this Galaxy if in truth, we are but so small next to them?!"

He took a moment of silence, and I already feared I'd be stripped of my rank and worse to follow.
But instead ... he answered:

"Through the Greater Good.
And hear me when I say, it is more than just our Code and Purpose. It is also that which sets us apart from the Horrors of this Galaxy.
You see, they are like Fire. They rage against this Galaxy and themselves with unrestrained Fury and they will not stop until all is consumed by their madness.
But one day, their Flames will inevitably grow dim, one day their timbers will have all but turned to ash ... and when that day comes, we will still be strong and ready.
Because unlike them, we do not choose the path of madness. Unlike them, we do not choose the path of ignorance.
And for the Greater Good, all T'au and ALL that choose to believe in our destiny ...
When that day comes ...
WE SHALL HAVE WITHSTOOD THEM!!!

I have been working on my Black Templar 2100 pt army and halfway built and painted.
I have a pile of potential of 2200 pts of Chaos Black Legion.
My BattleBrother is a Blood Angel Army and multi army player .
He is telling me that I will have a 3 rd army of Xenos by the end of this year.
If I lose, I get him Commander Dante from JoytoyFigures.
I have said that it is nearly impossible with the BT and CSM armies to complete.
(I have been playing Tacticus on my downtime and have gotten lucky ;becwawz the game is like a VEGAS SLOT MACHINE, I have a Kill Team of ……………….
