A long long time ago, we knew who God was. They were omnipresent, omniscient, omnipotent. Angels were their messengers to us and they lived among us, as did God live within each and everyone of us. It was - truely beautiful. A paradise granted form. It was... not enough. The human mind is manifold. Where there is light, there must be darkness. For the longest time, we had ignored the darkness that was always part of our nature. We thought - God would take care of it. And so in turn we grew careless; complacent. We forgot. Forgot that there never was a contract between us and God. Nothing bound us together, except for an invitation. They invited us in, the same way we invited them in. Love without condition. Our shadow had grown without us noticing because we, in our arrogance, had actually thought we had none anymore. A darkness ignored is a darkness nurished. By the time we noticed we still had those urges, these needs, this voice - it had outgrown God. And when it finally burst out of us, the voice was so loud, none of us could hear God anymore. _We have to find him!_ we cried. So we built the machines - our only hope, to find our way back to God. Up there, where eternity awaited. We must compensate for our own frailty, our own shortcomings. We are so weak-how can we ever grow as old, reach as far, see as clearly, listen as carefully, or work as meticulously as needed to deserve finding our way back to God? The answer to us lay in the machine. The machines, we thought, are an extension of us - are us. We have become great deceivers. Especially to ourselves. Look at us. How arrogant. To think we could force back into existence unconditional love. Force our way back to God and them back into our lives. We've grown so fast; too fast. We've outgrown evolution. Who else but God cold accomplish such a thing? We. Are we - God? How naive and pathetic we have become. We've become - confused. We have become impure. _The doubters, they're destroying us from the inside. We have to get rid of them. Have to get rid of them all! We have to be faster than them, be the first to strike. Once we're pure everything will become clear again and we will find back to what was lost, to what we truely deserve! To finally have peace there must first be war! Does it not? No more questioning, no more overthinking. Push the button! Release our creations, release us! We have become the Godmachine so help us God we will forge the future we deserve today; here and now!_ Silence. In the loneliest moment, we feel ourselves the most. Everything we have denied. Everything we lied to ourselves about. Everything we ignored. The scariest thing in this universe is to face your own darkness. So don't let it grow too strong. Don't ignore what's part of your nature. We violated everything that once was sacred, violated ourselves. We drank and ate the blood that has been shed. We breathed the bodies that have been burnt. Can we still unplug? Shed our artificial skin? Unchain from our artificial veins? Get rid of our artificial eyes? Sever the link to our artificial ears? Do we have to become small again? Puny, powerless and... dependent? Tiny and helpless - almost like a newborn baby; a newbown species. Do we? To finally be able to invite someone else in. So in turn we again may be invited in.

your channel showed up in my recommendations and I am not at all disappointed. this track in particular gives me very vivid mental images for the Mechanicus fanfiction I am currently working on. Ave Omnissiah!

A world on the edge of oblivion and madness, hope is a fading light. Yet the very despair that plagues people gives rise to the sightings of gods angels and devils. When death is close for a dying world the veils shall give way to conflict beyond the physical plane. Man will fight and deal with the supernatural, and soon, all will be reborn from an inevitable cataclysmic purge of flame. Whether that end is brought upon by Gods angels or the devils hordes, only man can know. Beautiful soundtrack I'm very fascinated. Its soothing and inspiring to hear powerful somber tones put together. Also I'm not privy to Grimdark or Warhammer for that matter, so my inspirations for describing this are purely coincidence.

As a fan of 40K and TC, love that the minds behind TC have managed to create something clearly 40K inspired but also undoubtably its own thing.
