Venerable Geshe Namdak - Introduction to Tenets

The Dutch monk, Venerable Geshe Namdak, may be the first westerner ever who has completed the rigorous geshe-program at any of the three great Tibetan monasteries, Sera, Ganden and Drepung. It is an outstanding achievement that requires immense dedication and effort.
Venerable Namdak did 19 years of intensive study and debate in Sera Jey, India, and has continued his study and practice at the tantric colleges. The office of His Holiness the Dalai Lama appointed him to teach vinaya to students desiring ordination in the annual preordination course at Tushita, Dharamsala. Furthermore, he was recently appointed to be the resident teacher at Jamyang centre, London.
Venerable Geshe Namdak will give a introduction talk to Tenets to the students of the Basic Program on Monday 2 September, 14:30.
