So, what would have happened if she "found what she was looking for"? She overvalued herself in the sexual market place because of the lusty attention she was getting only for reality to hit her squarely between the eyes. Maybe she didn't get the "offer" she was looking for....

Hypergamy in this generation is real! Women overvalue themselves only to find there is no interest beyond the physical. There's too much evidence to perceive this situation as the exception.
