I’ve watched plenty of UA-camrs play magic such as Jim Davis, nummy, etc but you are far and away my favorite to watch. You’re calm and cool while you play and it’s super helpful when you explain what cards do and analyze their impact on the game. I truly treasure your videos and it’s been a pleasure to find your channel. I wish you the best Gomlet
LVD is my favorite. Gomlet is my number 2. Both are calm and collected. I like to chill when I watch people play magic. Dont get me wrong I love nummy and day9, but sometimes I just want a little more peace. So I agree with you.
I shall call this deck: Samut’s Counters P.s. I really have been liking your videos, much better than anyone else who I’ve seen that streams. I love the way you talk through all your options. Sometimes I can’t watch 100% of the time, but hearing your commentary allows me to follow EXACTLY what’s going on the board 😁
On board yes, but as I was saying I wanted to play it safe. I didn't attack to play around a trick, since they had open mana up and were stopping between steps, representing a possible instant, not because it wasn't a good onboard attack. That did end up being just a cycling card giving them priority, so you're definitely right, just slamming in would've been better. I should've contextualized to myself that if I was willing to block with Samut if they attacked in, I should be willing to attack in with Samut since either play loses Samut to a trick.
In game five, you kept playing out lands as you got them. I know you can only bluff having something useful for so long, but making them second guess themselves with each attack is important. Sometimes it's the little things that make all the difference. Otherwise, good draft!
Bluffing with lands is definitely a decent strategy in paper magic but on Arena since it will auto pass anyway I tend to just dump lands out unless I have an ability on board that'll give me priority to bluff instant speed interaction.

38:10 samut could easily attacked cause the double strike kills the first creature before it deals damage.
