I believe Astrology is science but there are very few who can understand that as it is so deep and subtle and current day science is not enough to understand or prove the science behind astrology and yoga. Be careful as present day astrology has degraded to mere superstition .

Unfortunately, illiteracy , poverty are very prevalent in India. So called School education does not teach the students the logical thinking and students are more and more interested in memorizing things and getting good grades. If one does not have the scientific bent of mind, critical thinking and seeking answers - then people tend to believe in everything and develop superstitious . There are fellow commenters who do not even bother to check what they wrote makes any sense. Unfortunate.
Mr. Gogineni Babu garu… You seem to be an extremely intelligent and learned person who puts forth his arguments clearly. However, I wish to clarify a few things for the benefit of the people who could be swayed by your half-truths and lopsided arguments. To keep things simple, I will limit this write-up only to astrology and not venture into religion, faith, blind-beliefs etc. Lets take your first point where you said “Sun, Moon, Rahu and Ketu are not even planets and your 9-member team is already down without the 4 players!” Firstly, you need to understand the nomenclature behind this. The old Indian Sanskrit word “Graha” has no equivalent in English. The English word “Planet” is a loose translation for this Sanksrit word Graha. “Graham” means a celestial body that seizes our lives or takes control on us. Please refer to a Sanskrit dictionary for the etymology but you must already be familiar with similar words like “Grahinchatam”. As such, the 9 celestial bodies have come to be referred to as Grahas as they were deemed to have influence on our lives. Your other related point is Rahu and Ketu do not even exist! Who told you this ? Rahu and Ketu are called Chaya (Shadow) Grahas - these do not have physical bodies. These are rather two opposing mathematical points in space representing the intersection of Moon’s orbit around the Earth and the orbit of Earth around the Sun called the Ecliptic. In the western world, these are referred to as the Lunar nodes - North Node and South Node - and they are part of the “navagraha” system used in Indian astrology. Even NASA accepts these astronomical (not astrological!) concepts called North Node and South Node. So they do exist, albeit in a non-physical form! Uranus, Neptune, Pluto were also known to ancient Indian Rishis - but they were not deemed to have influence on our lives given their distance and extremely slow orbital movement, hence not included in the Nava-graha system. Now please wear your literary hat and tell me if this argument sounds logical to you. I am not yet referring to whether astrology works or not - just answering your opening remarks in many debates. I am surprised that in so many debates, no astrologer worth their salt tried clarifying this to you , or perhaps you are refusing to accept the logical truth? So, if this seems logical to you, can you please confirm that you will never raise this particular point (Sanskrit “Grahas” vs English “Planets”) in any debates hereafter? We will get to the other things later - but first lets agree on this logical point.

Astrology పని చేస్తుందో లేదో చెప్పడానికి Sun Moon Rahu Ketu planets కాదు అనే argument ఆయన తప్పు గా వాడు తున్నారు. There are other half truths in his argument which I will counter logically.... but I will first let him respond to this point.

My Straight question .. Science is also developing... We did not have 100% completed in Science ... this is called research . One question ... Vedic system explains lot of universes even we did not explore completely our complete universe.. Do we have space vehicles to confirm to go beyond and confirm ? can we travel and confirm ? There are more evidences on astrology. Almanac ,longitude ,latitudes are written long back. Babu's argument appears appears to be correct as they are within his domain knowledge .

at the age of 15 when I visited kalahasthi temple one guy sitting on a basement its not even a room, he just saw us (i dint even remember weather I showed him my plam or not) and told me that I will go to foreign county and settles there and I will get marry after 30 years of age and I am not going to get any assets from my parents, at that time we had enough assets and money to live, Ma and My parents didn't believe as I am not that good in studies (interested in watching movies, watched 6 movies for 6 subjects every day evening in my 10th class exams, but I got 1st class :) at that time and my dad was very much interested to make my marriage by the age of 25 years my dad is also atheist so he challenged with him that he is planning my marriage at the age of 20 with the idea that we are having lot of assets so no need to worry about money, but that guy replied if it happens he will walk out taking of his shirt :), . when I was around 20 years, my dad started loosing all the money, losses in business, so I involved in his business by discontinuing my studies, so no proper degree for me so not able to get marry due to no studies no job, then my parents forced me to concentrate on studies later I finished my MBA at the age of around 25, we lost all or money in the business, by the age of 26 frankly nil no more money , I even don't have any plans to go foreign country at that situation, unexpectedly one of my relatives daughter plan to go to Australia and they dropped of due to her marriage, my parents came to know about it and asked me to go to australia, so we used the same assets of my uncle as bank loan and some fixed deposits of my mother to come to Australia for study, though I don't have any knowledge in accounts I finished my Master in accounts with very good marks than who did their accounts degree in bachelors, I got job here, I am the citizen here. Actually that guy told that I will die in foreign country, So to die mean we need a visa to live in foreign county until we die, I am the citizen here. So now I started to believe astrology, he charged me only 5 Rupees at that time, when my dad searched for him after he started loosing money in business we didn't able to find him there. frankly to say i put my all efforts to finish my studies in Australia, my dad used to scold me that I am weak in Maths in my chaild hood, he wants me to see me as engineer, but I got higher distinction in one of the maths related subjet here. other than working hard in finishing my masters, coming to Australia getting job after finishing my studies getting citizen ship happened with not much effort. there are so manuy people who might be very good at studies and money than me, but many of them not able to come here though they have interest, i don't have any interest, no plan but still i came ans settle here, still no one in my circle believes that i am in Australia :) i was in English medium upto 8th then due to my health issue i came back to my home town and studies in telugu medium upto my 12 class, i was science student, then degree English medium with social sciences as main subjects, then MBA Finance, then master in accounts in Australia, is there any relation to my studies and Job :) i even didn't speak proper English :)so its fate no one can stop it. i got married at the age of 33, i didn't get a rupee from my parents, everything my studies, my dads money, my marriage, my children all matching with my astrology, so i am believing it, i don't say others to believe it, its their wish, if believing astrology or not no issue life goes as it is, no need to worry much about it, guys its the experience in my life, I just shared as some discussions going on here about astrology, so need to take this as serious issue, you do your work, different people have different destinations not all life goes in same way one advise is no need to go astologers, if you visit them or not no changes occur in life. if interested try to find out the one who is good at astrology, if you visit an astrologer by any chance listen to him what he says they don't charge much around Rs100 I think when I last visited 7 years back, if they say about any costly poojs don't go for it, if interested just listen what he says that's all but tey only the astologers who can predict through life charts all chilaka jyotheesam and others I don't have any idea on numerology. One more advise is don't estimate that who settled in foreign countries are genius in studies, there are many in india who are grandfathers in knowledge of these people, try your best and reach the goals need luck sometimes.

super mama ... Also we need to identify that... Astrology considered few planets, sun and moon. We are on earth so they considered the objects influencing humans. Astrology is good subject and not simply just using for simple cheap things like showing in TVs. There might be commercial some people But not all. Do you have any subject in the modren science which can show prediction about our future ? No, we did not have. This gives an indication to be more proactive and to take care some additional steps for safty.

If Sun - moon Placed in one side of the earth ( same side of the earth in horoscope chart) in the universe. In our language same house ( same intlo) ( same raasi lo ) then that was amaavaasya. ( we will see black moon in the sky. 2 If sun - moon are in opposite directions in the universe. ( means both sides of the earth in astrological chart. In our language opposite house ( opposite intlo ) ( opposite raasi lo ) Sun in the one side of the earth, moon in the other side of the earth in the universe. Then that was pournami. ( we will see full moon in the sky ) ( here I want to raise your objection about…. Sukrudu velli sani intlo kurchunnadu, sani velli sukrudi intlo kurchunnadu these words are using astrologers. My answer was… House means the space round the earth up to the end of the universe. Every matter in this universe will defenetly placed in this 12 parts what we are called as 12 raasulu. 12 houses. Right? 2. If rahu - kethu are also placed along with sun and moon in two parts ( means two sides) of the earth, which is in middle as standard. Then we will observed eclipse either it will solar or lunar based on the placements. 3. Sun raise and sun set will said by taking the lagna (means exact time) of that particular place into account. I think No need to explain now for your knowledge. Ok now in practical….. Now you will take any amaavaasya or pournami or lunar eclipse or solar eclipse in your interested calendar. Enter that time date and place in any of the astrological softwares ( now a days it is easy to see ). Then you will see what I said above. If you have any doubt , defenetly you will see the upcoming pournami, amavaasya or any eclipse. That will defenetly match with my analysis. This is the power of Indian astrology. Ok now, coming to you… Some doctors doing operations completely by forgetting some instruments like knife, scissors etc in human bodies like stomach right? Some doctors done operations at one side of the brain ( head ) for having actual problem at other side of the brain (head). Right? Some doctors misbehaves with ladies in their hospitals. Right? Like this so many issues are there. Right? In your point of view. You have to avoid all doctors and also total knowledge about MBBS. Right? Here I mean to say. May be some astrologers are fake. Blaming total astrology was not correct. And your 3rd question. :- There are so many stars etc present in this universe why are you not calculating all these stars etc. Right ? My answer was., our ancient astrologers were considered these influences on earth. What ever it may be like eclipse, sunrise sun set etc. And I have few questions. Before 2000 years so many people are there, why Jesus was considered special? Why English calendar starts there? At the time of swamy Vivekananda there are so many people are there. Then why we are considered swamy Vivekananda. At the time of freedom fighting there are so many people are there. Then why we consider some people like Gandhi etc. Like this, you are right. There are so many stars, matters, masses in this universe. Then …..? What is your problem? Your question about, come on calculate all matters distance from earth…. Etc. was not correct. Regarding astrological point of view. That was defenetly your problem. No need to calculate. And finally…… in my knowledge. May be I think swami Vivekananda also told like this….. In that picture, astrologers consider some particular 9 masses ( like sun, moon, etc, as usuallu earth in the middle) including that particular degrees. They will predict some thing…. Then coming to parties…, prime minister etc… That astrologers who are debating with you in TV shows are speaking correctly…, Means…. They need some data about your question. Means that MLA candidates horoscope, parties horoscope etc. That is not wrong. Why you debating, they are asking answersheets. For your questions? With out knowing the placesments of sun , moon etc…. how will any one will predict. If we want some ones horoscope…, what will we need. You just think with your knowledge… 1. Time of birth. This is for , calculating at that particular time all 9 grahas situated in universe. 2. Place of birth. This is for calculating the same. Becase for every change of place the universe will appear in different view. Right? In clear…, from one place of earth moon will appear from one place, and from other side of earth, moon will appear in different view. Right? That’s why Place of birth. 3. Date of birth. This is also for calculating the same. Finally an astrologer will take a screenshot (for that particular date, time, place) of this whole universe. And will say something. What was wrong in this? Remember may be astrologers are fake, but not astrology. And Regarding vastu… Only one thing I want to say now. All other I will discuss later. If we break one magnetic bar. Then what will happen. However, I wish to clarify a few things for the benefit of the people who could be swayed by your half-truths and lopsided arguments.
To keep things simple, I will limit this write-up only to astrology and not venture into religion, faith, blind-beliefs etc.
Lets take your first point where you said “Sun, Moon, Rahu and Ketu are not even planets and your 9-member team is already down without the 4 players!”
Firstly, you need to understand the nomenclature behind this. The old Indian Sanskrit word “Graha” has no equivalent in English. The English word “Planet” is a loose translation for this Sanksrit word Graha. “Graham” means a celestial body that seizes our lives or takes control on us. Please refer to a Sanskrit dictionary for the etymology but you must already be familiar with similar words like “Grahinchatam”.
As such, the 9 celestial bodies have come to be referred to as Grahas as they were deemed to have influence on our lives.
Your other related point is Rahu and Ketu do not even exist! Who told you this ?
Rahu and Ketu are called Chaya (Shadow) Grahas - these do not have physical bodies.
These are rather two opposing mathematical points in space representing the intersection of Moon’s orbit around the Earth and the orbit of Earth around the Sun called the Ecliptic.
In the western world, these are referred to as the Lunar nodes - North Node and South Node - and they are part of the “navagraha” system used in Indian astrology.
Even NASA accepts these astronomical (not astrological!) concepts called North Node and South Node.
So they do exist, albeit in a non-physical form!
Uranus, Neptune, Pluto were also known to ancient Indian Rishis - but they were not deemed to have influence on our lives given their distance and extremely slow orbital movement, hence not included in the Nava-graha system.
Now please wear your literary hat and tell me if this argument sounds logical to you. I am not yet referring to whether astrology works or not - just answering your opening remarks in many debates.
I am surprised that in so many debates, no astrologer worth their salt tried clarifying this to you , or perhaps you are refusing to accept the logical truth?
So, if this seems logical to you, can you please confirm that you will never raise this particular point (Sanskrit “Grahas” vs English “Planets”) in any debates hereafter?

at the age of 15 when I visited kalahasthi temple one guy sitting on a basement its not even a room, he just saw us (i dint even remember weather I showed him my plam or not) and told me that I will go to foreign county and settles there and I will get marry after 30 years of age and I am not going to get any assets from my parents, at that time we had enough assets and money to live, Ma and My parents didn't believe as I am not that good in studies (interested in watching movies, watched 6 movies for 6 subjects every day evening in my 10th class exams, but I got 1st class :) at that time and my dad was very much interested to make my marriage by the age of 25 years my dad is also atheist so he challenged with him that he is planning my marriage at the age of 20 with the idea that we are having lot of assets so no need to worry about money, but that guy replied if it happens he will walk out taking of his shirt :), . when I was around 20 years, my dad started loosing all the money, losses in business, so I involved in his business by discontinuing my studies, so no proper degree for me so not able to get marry due to no studies no job, then my parents forced me to concentrate on studies later I finished my MBA at the age of around 25, we lost all or money in the business, by the age of 26 frankly nil no more money , I even don't have any plans to go foreign country at that situation, unexpectedly one of my relatives daughter plan to go to Australia and they dropped of due to her marriage, my parents came to know about it and asked me to go to australia, so we used the same assets of my uncle as bank loan and some fixed deposits of my mother to come to Australia for study, though I don't have any knowledge in accounts I finished my Master in accounts with very good marks than who did their accounts degree in bachelors, I got job here, I am the citizen here. Actually that guy told that I will die in foreign country, So to die mean we need a visa to live in foreign county until we die, I am the citizen here. So now I started to believe astrology, he charged me only 5 Rupees at that time, when my dad searched for him after he started loosing money in business we didn't able to find him there. frankly to say i put my all efforts to finish my studies in Australia, my dad used to scold me that I am weak in Maths in my chaild hood, he wants me to see me as engineer, but I got higher distinction in one of the maths related subjet here. other than working hard in finishing my masters, coming to Australia getting job after finishing my studies getting citizen ship happened with not much effort. there are so manuy people who might be very good at studies and money than me, but many of them not able to come here though they have interest, i don't have any interest, no plan but still i came ans settle here, still no one in my circle believes that i am in Australia :) i was in English medium upto 8th then due to my health issue i came back to my home town and studies in telugu medium upto my 12 class, i was science student, then degree English medium with social sciences as main subjects, then MBA Finance, then master in accounts in Australia, is there any relation to my studies and Job :) i even didn't speak proper English :)so its fate no one can stop it. i got married at the age of 33, i didn't get a rupee from my parents, everything my studies, my dads money, my marriage, my children all matching with my astrology, so i am believing it, i don't say others to believe it, its their wish, if believing astrology or not no issue life goes as it is, no need to worry much about it, guys its the experience in my life, I just shared as some discussions going on here about astrology, so need to take this as serious issue, you do your work, different people have different destinations not all life goes in same way one advise is no need to go astologers, if you visit them or not no changes occur in life. if interested try to find out the one who is good at astrology, if you visit an astrologer by any chance listen to him what he says they don't charge much around Rs100 I think when I last visited 7 years back, if they say about any costly poojs don't go for it, if interested just listen what he says that's all but tey only the astologers who can predict through life charts all chilaka jyotheesam and others I don't have any idea on numerology.
