Really goooood!❤👍
Silk does similar... it WAS free black friday lol.
I did a silk video the day of its release. You didnt see it? Honestly I feel these 2 plug ins are way different. They get way different results. Triple d can compress the areas way tighter without sounding over processed. Waves silk can sound over processed if it’s over done. I do like both plug ins for sure
@@PerfectVocalsAcademy I completely agree with this take. Silk is cool and has a compressor built in that’s essentially Rvox but like you said you can over do it real fast
Where would you put this on the vocal chain? I was thinking maybe having it as one of the first’s
Yes one of the first plug ins is good. Sometimes late in the chain works well too though so try both
Question is the debox algorithm any different from just dipping 2-3db on a EQ? I’m sure the plugin must have some magic in it right it can’t just be a basic EQ
I don’t believe it’s using eq, instead it’s multiband compression. When I use it, it sounds like it’s compressing a certain boxy area and the more you turn it up, the more it compresses
@@PerfectVocalsAcademy Question is there any benefit to EQing at all compared to Multiband compression? At least in turns of controlling frequencies? It seems like MB comp is superior. What’s your take
@@brokenhero6828 I definitely prefer multiband compression over just static eq. Certain frequencies tend to build up just at certain times in the vocal and not the whole time. So it’s a way more natural and smooth approach
Where can we get it for free
It’s not free. But very affordable. Link in the description
