That was a lot of water. Those cassette seals are pretty impressive compared to the normal seal. I think you are right, the hub vent must be blocked somehow to get that amount of water in them. On my U1250, the brake disk can come out the bottom of the hub without taking the brake callipers off ( or apart)
Hi guys, the fluid was all hub oil and luckily did not contain any water but it was under pressure. We did find that the breather pipe was blocked so cleared it with an air line. The pads will come off without removing the outer calliper but we couldn’t get the disc/rotor off without removing the calliper. Second hub was much faster than the first once we knew what we were doing 👍
Thanks for letting me help operate on Dolly. We had a blast... well, Dan did :)
🤣
Well done Dan and Chad. Just as well you had that special tool or you'd have been driving a three-wheeler
Well done Dan. No idea what you were doing but looked v impressive.
Come on Rich - you’re an Engineer!!
Great job with your huge tool there, Dan. Proper screwing that is. 😂
Hahaha Jocke. We considered calling it “Dolly gives Dan a facial”.
@@dollysdiary160 Oooooeeer, matron!! 🤣

Why did you split the brake callipers? Grease on the seals before pressing them in?
We ended up removing the outer callipers because we couldn’t remove the brake discs/rotors with them in place.
Should’ve called this one “Dolly Squirts!” (I can see G cringing now ❤)
Hahahaha - how tempting 😂
Hi, Where you buy the special tool to install the hub seals? Thanks
I bought it from ACPrice in the UK and my son brought it over to the USA when he visited us. What country are you in ?
