So I’m trying to do the roof part and I was wondering how you got rid of the floor from the room you built on top of the pool because I can’t delete it. 😢
When you have the fence tool selected there will be 3 icon options between the fence selections and the that you click on to get to different types of items. Choose the top option to draw them in. These options are also there for walls and half walls.
@@Mxliaxu I've got a "fix" for you! I didn't see it the first time I watched the video (she did do it), and with some trial and error figured it out myself lol. The stairs need to have their 'platform' for it to work i.e. don't let it connect into the ground. It must have a 'long' first step.Then it works. I've done some really nice builds with the video's concept. Alternatively place a building platform, change it's height down 3-4 steps and the idea is the same. Stairs work, Sims go in etc plus you can use a platform trim too to make it look cool.

For all my console people with the roof all you have to do is drag the curved arrow and it is going to delete the little section on the roof

When I build a room it comes with no roof. So I am not able to make a roof to put over the seating area. How do I fix this?
You have to add a roof using the roof option in the bottom left in build mode

Another trick is to build the room next to the pool and drag the roof across to above the pool, it’s easier to delete the floor then
I for the life of me cannot make the fence work. It just says not applicable or must be applied to a room

My sim refuses to go into the sunken area :( not sure why

How do you get debug items
You need to put in the cheats bb.showhiddenobjects and bb.showliveeditobjects and then if you’re on PC type in the bottom left search bar debug
