Great video Dustino. I want to do a video but embarrassed to say don't have alot of John, George or Ringo. Concentrated most of my collection on the Beatles and Paul solo stuff. Told Tone that I have to get my daughter to help me with the technical stuff of recording, editing and posting. Still hoping to do one with my limited John, George and Ringo stuff.
All of our collections vary. Don’t worry if you don’t have everything on these. I had to struggle even on a couple of these questions. I was lucky too on the tech side, that I had a friend that was really into editing videos. He’s got a channel on UA-cam in a different genre. But I swear he’s just into editing videos more than he is into posting them. He really helped me get going. I know really enjoy the editing part too. I’d really love to see your response. Once it’s done it’ll seem easier than you think and you’ll want to post more and more.
Fantastic stuff Dustin. Really enjoyed watching this and appreciate the enormous 'heeeeeeeyyyyy'. Funny, we had those record clubs in the Uk too and I did the same thing - flit from one to the other. Well done for taking this on, you've done a great job my friend. I have the Wingspan book - it's a pretty easy read . Although I dont have dyslexia , I struggle to concentrate for long periods of reading so I would definitely recommend audio books - they are a great alternative .
The record clubs were always fun. Get so many new albums for the price of one. And the fulfillment wasn’t that bad either. I always watched for sales that would count towards fulfillment and use that. I remember one time I got a Ray Charles box set for about the same cost as a single album and it also counted as three albums towards my fulfillment. I’ll really have to look into audiobooks. I know you’ve mentioned that to me before. But I should glance through that Wingspan one. It didn’t look like too hard of a read for me.
@@BeatleDustino The one here used to send a magazine every month and you had to choose an album to buy from the list. if you forgot to order your record they would send you their 'record of the month' and you would be forced to pay for it. It's how I ended up with a Mr. Mister album lol
@beatleytonesbeatleschannel they did the same here. One nice thing here, if you forgot to respond, was you could mark it “return to sender” when you received the package and they would credit you back.
Yeah yeah yeah! Another RAM fan! Our army grows! Ha ha. Great video man - 'Spies like us' great pick if id have thought of that id have pulled my record out to show - i love that song!
Thanks. I think the RAM fans are really out there. Seems a lot of these I watched had that for Paul. I really had a hard time with that singles one though. Especially being non-album single. I have a few 12” ones so far. But for 7” I only have what’s in that Ringo box set. Next time I’m at my local shop I might browse through the singles. But I’m only going for ones with picture sleeves to start.
I have issues with reading aleo (vision issues). I find it's easier to read on a Kinde. It's a nice flat surface and you can make the text as big as you need it to be. It's still tiring though. You can always get the Kindle version for reading and the physical book when it's on sale for collecting and viewing the pictures. I'm currently reading the new Mal Evans book.
Thanks for those tips. I do really enjoy reading, but I’ve really got to be in the mood. I really want to dive into these books and learn more. For me it’s just a load of effort. That MAL Evans book sounds really good. Enjoy 😊
Do you listen to any music besides The Beatles?? There are so many Beatles channels like yours showing the same thing that it would be great to show and talk about music you have other than the Beatles! It’s probably hard to talk about Beatles all the time
