needed a tiny little egg video today. Honestly what is inspiring me lately is learning. Learning about history, stories from people, exc. Really been into folk art recently! I also have been rewatching your vlogs a lot when I draw! Glad to hear you are doing alright with all the craziness in the world. The only thing giving me hope is that there are people like me who are deeply unsettled with the results and are committed to their community and still fighting for change. We really are all in this together. That's for making content, you and your art feel like a friend :))
in my imaginary version of your life, you're constantly surrounded by dozens of art friends and bicycle friends and hiking friends... but in your real life, you're actually running a business all by yourself. i never stop being impressed by all you accomplish-- artwork, mailings, outdoorsy stuff, staying (mostly) healthy, and giving us these charming, witty, engaging vlogs! (i'm inspired by learning some new (to me) printmaking processes. soft lino-cut block printing, using tetra-pak as drypoint plate... stuff like that. ) sending love.
I could NOT have worked as hard as you did right after the election. I was practically bedridden with depression/anxiety for at least 3 days wow. Nice work, keep truckin! I'm inspired by all the women in my life :) Just got back from a girls weekend and it was so incredibly healing. We did a sound bath which was a new one for me and it put me in a healing trance 10/10 would reccomend
Your clogs is what’s inspiring me always tbh. Like I’m just happy to be here and witness and at the same time noting for myself that it can be fun or that hard things are doable. Thank you for sharing ur process it’s much appreciated ❤
I can't even look at the news because of the election. I'm ready to really submerge myself in my art now. Just make it through. I hope you become the queen of self-care. I know these are tough times for you.
I am super inspired recently by color and light! I just discovered Marco Bucci. He has a great UA-cam channel. I also started learning about loose observational sketching which feels exciting too.
YOU inspire me, as do Orla Stevens, Melanie Chadwick, a bunch of other YT artists, and NATURE. Can I quote you ("Life is worth it, even though sometimes it doesn't feel like it is?")? If that's "dark," so is being human a lot of the time. Glad you're running. I'm the same way about getting outside for a daily walk. Used to run, too, but at 80 can't even run across the street. Lol.
My sketchbook has been inspiring me. I've been drawing for as long as I can remember but I have never filled a sketchbook cover to cover, so that's one of my current goals!
First of all that December art is f bomb: I want it. Second, try a lymphatic facial massage. You can administer it to yourself.or go to a local class. It should drain your sinus infection! 😊
i discovered your channel a couple of weeks ago and lemme tell ya, binging your videos has brought me a lot of joy and inspiration and positivity in the post-election madness. Grateful for you, I love your art and please never stop making videos :))))
definitely love your authenticity and art work, so that's why i always come back for the next video. a channel that always inspires me is called "introvert and dog" and it's just about a fella taking his dog for walks in Oslo and showing nature and beautiful architechture and simple stuff, and i don't know why, it feels relaxing and he has an eye that always captures beauty in life, so it is always a nice experience! ❤😊
You inspire me and I thank you for being an inspiration to me and so many other wonderful people thank you Kristen with lots of love your viewer Ricky 😁💛💛💛
My biggest inspiration is probably nature :). There's just sooo much to notice with all your senses. Also just little things that I notice. An imperfection somewhere, people doing people things,...
hell yes! powerpoint parties are the literal best. We had one of these at my old studio and i laughed so much, this looks excellent dude. congrats on the calendar launch.
Honestly you have inspired me this year to paint and just bring art back into my life. I'm inspired by groups like Working Families Party, musicians like Delilah Bon & Paris Paloma. I'm inspired by the life and resistance work of Josephine Baker. This election has, had, will have such huge impacts for generations, it's infuriating and heartbreaking. But it's also a call to action. Generations before us have faced similar challenges. Now is our turn to fight for justice and against fascism.
Might be repeating myself but OMSI (Oregon Museum of Science and Industry) has an exhibit right now called Exquisite Creatures: Revealed and it’s all preserved (not taxidermy) animals and insects (beetles, butterflies, moths, birds, reptiles and amphibians, fish and other sea creatures and flowers). I had seen pictures of it the first time it was in town and didn’t think a whole lot about it but I finally went to see it this time and it was so stunning, it actually moved me to tears. Twice! The exhibit is by Christopher Marley who is a local Oregonian and he’s managed to collec these beautiful animals through many different outlets and preserves them and creates art with them. He also has a designer’s eye and loves symmetry which is something I love to use in my own art and so I was just absolutely fascinated by it! And there’s a lot of really rare species that you’d never be able to see otherwise or may not have even heard of. I’ve been making a lot lately and I love what I’m making but it’s maybe not as fulfilling as other art that I make and it really made me want to get back into that and create more animal inspired pieces which is the root of what makes me happy ☺️ Also, yes, going outside is so necessary! I used to never go on walks but I started dog walking a couple days a week and I just love getting out there and seeing nature and I feel like it’s really curbed my seasonal depression. It’s crazy how healing getting outside can be, I love it
I should have put these all in one comment: my friend Sandeep made the bread. It had fennel in it and I've thought about it every day since. Also, I'm gonna figure out which silent movie that was, so please don't tell me. AND FINALLY: I love the calendar and I look forward to looking at it every day in 2025.
Inspiration lately has been a mix of Anime and still life drawing. Feels like a weird combo but I find I enjoy drawing/documenting my life and what’s around me. Rather then going on Pinterest. Anime has been great to practice dynamic poses, practice hands and details.
I am in love with this video 🤣🤣 The energy, the dont give a fuck anymore, the "lets just make things work" attitude. Everything! You feel really vibrant and in tune with yourself. Although i'm sure thats not the case all the time. 🫠 Thanks for still showing up and giving us a sneak peak of your life reently. I'm feeling very inspired by you but also by still lifes 🙈 Don't know why, but I'm in a new groove and just want to get better at painting randomly organised objects.
Immediately ordered your calendar for my Mom! (I'd order one for myself too but shipping to Germany is just too crazy lol so hopefully there still will be some in stock the next time I'm in the US). Hang in there! We always have community -- the election is unfortunate and I had this feeling as well given the fact Harris didn't make a plan to address the genocide in Gaza I think that really negatively impacted her and also she wasn't given enough time to campaign. She still had an impressive turnout though despite these factors. Wishing that this will inspire a collective change for a better, more habitable, equitable world. Love and hugs from Berlin!
it’s so fun seeing the little green envelopes in this video and then looking over at my desk and seeing mine there!!! the “do not bend” is just too cute i keep all of the envelopes
Ok first this calendar is so cute!! Second this video came at the right time! I am a new artist who decided to put out some products for the holidays and the manufacturer I chose completely messed up my prints, like changed the color and sizes of things randomly 😂 I was so upset but this is just reminder that lots of us deal with the same thing.
ordered a calendar! cant wait to have more of your art displayed monthly kris. Your art style has given me a lot inspiration to play with art so itll be nice to have more of that!
I love your vlogs! I was so glad to see a new one in my feed ❤ Makes me want to do more vlog type stuff because even if I only edit it into a 1 min video, I can have a quite positive day, looking for the small good things. Inspiration for me right now - I’ve been taking photos of the most jumbled London buildings, the Victorian terraces with a mess of pipes and windows and things. Makes me think of Egon Schiele’s town/city paintings, where he manipulates reality so it’s like collage
Literally about to run SO FAST to my computer to order this, I’ve been needing a calendar, but also have wanted to support your business for so long!!!
I'm feeling inspired right now by two different pieces of media: Adventure Time (which I just finished rewatching) and Johanna Clough on UA-cam for her junk journal videos
Your vlogs are always so wholesome and inspiring. Absolutely love your art and you seem such a nice person ❤ This past year I felt very inspired by working with the animals at my local petting zoo. Recently someone inspired me to buy a book about medieval art that I hope will bring inspiration for my own drawings.
You are the best! loved watching the process. Makes me want to do this with my art, but I am too lazy to organize ha ha, in addition to yours, Ellen ellencrimitrent inspires me to Paint!
I just launched my first ever product. I have been watching artists like you make amazing things to sell for ages so I decided to make a tarot deck. And I'm so proud of myself
You look lovely. I guess it’s the running. Or your mascara (I actually thought you had it on) or hair color, Idk. I’m just 👁️👄👁️ The calendar is AWESOME, I love it. I would really like to have one. BTW I’m one of those horrible people that are not buying it (because no company ships to Russia, and all US payment systems are blocked, and it’s been years) sorry
i have to say that i am quite influenced by my first book from osho. i am reading it it in czech at the moment, but dont know its english name and i am lazy to look for it. i would translate the name as a way of the white cloud. hope you look at it. the calm it brings
my inspirations have been old brazilian mpb, brazillian literature and social media artists ✨️ also thinking about art in a more simbolic way than aesthetic wise (kinda like in my middle age era? in the sense they prioritized simbolism over realism? im just too lazy to care abt proportions rn lmao)
also I wanna paint more... paint objects, people, my book covers, my short stories, animals, so many animals, clothes, bookmakers for my friends, etc... the limited time I have on earth feeds me with passion 💪
Inspiration: I’m reading Don Quixote (Lothrop translation) and it’s so funny and weird, I can’t believe it was written in like 1600. Helps me to keep perspective and realize that people have always been people.
The problem with talking about the recent election on YT is that you inevitably end up with unempathetic people insisting they know better and that they didn't just elect a monster, but, anyways...as a disabled and queer person I'm just ;alhgeia;lgheail;. BUT we have to stand together, keep each other accountable, and help each other even when things get hard. As for the calender. It's beautiful. I'm tempted to grab one for myself, because I'm always looking at my wall calender.
I'm doing them in separate drops to simplify shipping! But you can always get stickers with free shipping with code "stickersonly" when they are in the shop again!
P.S.S. Been really inspired by this new poetry anthology I picked up recently called “Queer Nature.” Poems by queer writers who are inspired by nature. ❤️
See the problem (it’s a good problem I promise) with all my favorite artists releasing calendars is that I am going to end up with SO many calendars for the same year 😭🩷
Calendar PreOrder closes on November 20th!! Get one here: www.littletinyegg.com/shop/p/2025-calendar-6tdtt !! LOVE U GUYS

Yess I’ve also been inspired by folk art - I need more of that boldness

hahah i love that !!!
The post election struggle is REAL. Just wanna say amazing work on the calendar, keep doing what you are doing! 🥚
"practicing restraint, by just telling you about it" 🤣 I feel you
You’ve been inspiring me for the past 3 months! Your art makes me so happy
that makes me feel so happy !!!!
I could NOT have worked as hard as you did right after the election. I was practically bedridden with depression/anxiety for at least 3 days wow. Nice work, keep truckin! I'm inspired by all the women in my life :) Just got back from a girls weekend and it was so incredibly healing. I looove a good sound bath
Beautiful vase. The flowers seem at home within

Everytime you post a video, I feel obligated to tell you “I missed you and welcome back.” 🤣❤️
You're the best
Young lady, you are inspiring! Love your calendar!
thank you!!
We missed you Kristen!! 😊
Beautiful calendar! Take care, friend! 💞
I can't even look at the news because of the election. I'm ready to really submerge myself in my art now. Just make it through. I hope you become the queen of self-care. I know these are tough times for you.

this channel (aka you!) is what is inspiring me right now. Also garlands, persimmons, and an old japanese watercolor calendar that my mom lent me.
Inspiration: I watched Perfect Days and I recommend if you like slow, quiet, Japanese films about appreciating the simple things ❤
First of all that December art is f bomb: I want it.
Second, try a lymphatic facial massage. You can administer it to yourself.or go to a local class. It should drain your sinus infection! 😊

The new year is inspiring me. A fresh start that I’m trying to use as a catalyst 🌟
yes, we love a fresh start.

Awesome work on the calendar! I loved hearing Max's voice, good choice for a post-election support call! ♥

Kit's gotta start talking like that all the time. Such wisdom!

Omg the place where you run is like a dream!

This semester I have been studying monsters, romanticism, and modern art history for my university classes! All very inspiring.
I love the calendar! The sketchbooks lines and art.. they are so beautiful. Keep on keeping on, love hearing about what's going on with you ❤
And you are inspiring me!

you are the newly discovered artist who is inspiring me right now :)
Chromakopia by Tyler the creator has been super inspiring for me as of late. The artistry and vulnerability is just a beautiful thang.
Love your art vlogs !!

You are pretty darn inspiring :)

Thanks for the video! I LOVE the calendar. Wish that I could order one, but I live too far unfortunately. 😥
things taking twice as long as you think they should: for me that's adhd lol
I don’t really Draw on An iPod 😂 i love your personality
my dog thought some of the music in this video was veeeerrry interesting lol
I love the calender ❤ it just sucks shipping is so expensive from the US and then probably taxes
The problem with talking about the recent election on YT is that you inevitably end up with unempathetic people insisting they know better and that they didn't just elect a monster, but, anyways...as a disabled and queer person I'm just ;alhgeia;lgheail;. Qué pincel utilizabas en Procreate en las letras??? Absolutamente brutal el calendario! Saludos desde Spainnnn ❤❤❤ te veo siempre!!
gracias!! i usually use the 6b pencil in procreate for letters!
Are any stickers coming out soon? So I can order those with the calendar 🥰☀️
I'm doing them in separate drops to simplify shipping! But you can always get stickers with free shipping with code "stickersonly" when they are in the shop again!
Which silent film was it?? (I’m a silent film fan myself so I’m curious 🤓). Thank you for sharing your art. Take care!
It was “Filibus”- 1915 Italian film about a female airship pirate who frames someone for murder while crossdressing lol. A wild time.
@ ahhh, Filibus! I’ve had that movie in my kanopy twatch list for a while! It might be time to watch it. Thank you!
hurts to know the future...
:')
Omg what is that sweater/hoody you wear underneath your puffy jacket?? My ears/bald head would really benefit from the warmth
P.S. your calendar is looking incredible 😍 I wasn’t able to snag one in time, but maybe there will be more available? 😅
P.S.S. Been really inspired by this new poetry anthology I picked up recently called “Queer Nature.” Poems by queer writers who are inspired by nature. ❤️
it is a little zip up hoodie from Black Diamond!
Okay wait but you ARE influencing me to want this beautiful and cool patagonia fleece. What color is it called? Can't wait to get a calendar
Hehe it is the Women's Microdini 1/2-Zip Fleece Pullover is Molasses brown 🫡
I am in the UK - do you ship to England? How much shipping? Thanks!
I do! International shipping is about $20 usd!
See the problem (it’s a good problem I promise) with all my favorite artists releasing calendars is that I am going to end up with SO many calendars for the same year 😭🩷
hahaha a calendar for every room!
