    If you're having trouble doing exercises like pull ups, rows, and pull downs, it may be a lack of Latissimus Dorsi activation.
    This activation exercise is especially good for activating the "lats" during pull ups and pull downs.
    The Latissimus Dorsi is the large muscle of the upper back and it is the largest muscle of the upper body. By activating the "Lats," you can correct muscle imbalances, improve posture, and burn more calories.

    I get the idea! I use two chairs (both have small built in cushions, ideal for pressure!) and I engage my mind-muscle link. After one week, my variation is to use the pressure on the lats, to slightly lift my torso. I use this technique same as planking for core strength. It becomes like a deadlift for lats basically.

      That's actually helpful.
      Activating the lats without a pull up bar is hard. (especially in this quarantine where i can't go to the gym)

    Is that technique suitable for getting ride of lats trigger points?

      Dina Mahmoud It may help but it's definitely not a complete treatment. Massaging, stretching, proper form, proper progression, and rest should also be addressed for trigger points. This technique is more for learning to use the lats instead of other muscles that try to take over during movements like pullups and rows

      This technique is for activating the Lats and then you'll want to replicate that muscle activation when you're doing rows and pull-ups. Doing those exercises will build mass

    What if one of the sides is bigger than the other?

      You're probably subconsciously using one side more than the other. I would do dumbbell exercises i.e. Rows, and do the same weight, sets, and reps for each side. Do this activation exercise before starting the first set

      +FitnessJunkies I do everything at home, no weights. only different kind of pushups and situps and tricep exercises.

      That's a good routine but at a certain point, you'll need to incorporate pull ups or some type of rows
