Relatable! I worked like mad over COVID and last year I hit a major financial goal. And this year the finances took a backseat and whilst I'm still in Green, I didn't take the same intiatives I did last year to keep increasing my income or keep pursuing investing actively. A lot of splurging went into traveling. Now doing the same in tightening the belt and trying to get the ball rolling again for income and investing in preparation for next year. It's nice to listen to you talk about what you're doing with your finances and take notes on what can applied to my own. Onwards together! 🔥

Its pure insight hearing topics from you (it goes double if the topic is finance) Seeing this financial terrain makes me relate to mine: 1. Only managing 1 account for now because accounts that gets dormant would mean a lot of hassle, leading to a waste of time (plus, I dont have enough cash 💀) 2. My investment portfolio is nowhere to be seen until mid 2024. Because investment for me depends on how good I am in budgeting 2.5. Update: organized a meet to discuss investment with a financial advisor. 3. Budgeting is the main priority for now, because I need to be more "sensitive" or "mindful" (take your pick) with my finances before carrying out my next move. Anywayz, I tapped into the video as soon as I knew about it 😎. I also enjoyed the fact that the vid is approximately 5 minutes long with mix of sincerity, Information and overall good flow. Haha i feel you, the worst is if the bank account becomes dormant and the only way to get it reactivated or closed is to visit the physical bank.. So lazy. Lol. Jia you! 🙏🎉

Just last week i went to bank Islam to renew my debit card. I created account at bank Islam back in 2006 or 2007 because it's mandatory for student because my student loan from kptm (polytechnic) and ptptn (university) were transferred there before I can pay school fees. Finished my degree in 2016 and left my account dormant and card expired. I didn't login or use the card since. Just last week went to bank Islam because I want to use their merchant service. They want me to returned my card even after I told them card already expired. So they considered it a "lost card" and charged me. Girl at the desk asked me whether I have money in my account because she want to deduct the card fees directly from my account. I told her I'm not sure. She checked and told me there is money in my account. I was like weird?? I actually got money left in my account🤔? but I didn't ask her the balance. First thing after I got the card is went to the ATM and check the balance. There is 800+ left🤣 I actually hate going to bank branch to do business except for ATM but that is the best day ever doing business at bank. You should check your dormant bank account. Might have some money left😜
