Love those NH balers and I think I'm becoming a bit of a collector of them! fascinating how the knotter works and even better if you can maintain it and get some of the older hayliners running again with another I have for a winter project if I find the time. I have more hay than I need and could cut again but the barns are full so outside space and covers are a possibility but more likely get weather damage. Great content you provide and just as it is.
Yup that brings back memories for me. No loader for us in my youth. Had to hump the bales up by hand. That built the teenage muscles though, particularly by the time we were 6 bales up!
Great video, brings it all back to my time on my uncles farm, my dad loading with a international with flat eight and me stacking the bales on the trailer, driving a case 885xl I loved that tractor 👍
Hi, When I was a young teenager, I had to load a trailer that size, on my own, by hand, chucking all the bales on and stacking them. Chuck as many as poss on, then get up and stack them, leaving a big gap at one side, then when I had enough on, I would bring them off the top to fill the gap, no roping them on, never lost a bale. Starting off like I think you said, one down the middle rest at the sides. I stacked it square, straight up, binding the joins with bales in different directions. Then off to the yard. Leave the loaded trailer there and bring another for the same again. I got over the sore fingers eventually 😢, soft bales are the worst aren't they?
Brings back memories stacking trailers loaded by out ford 4000 with a squeeze grab 6 bales at a time then we moved to the flat 8 system modifying the trailers to be loaded by the flat 8 grab so no manual stacking was required
Brings me back to my early teens loading bales with a pitchfork onto a trailer for my neighbours. Hard honest work. Lovely to see you and your boys working in the fields.
Good morning Richard Harry and jack, Look as if you have a full house just the wife to come lol, I admit I thought 💭 Roy Orbison was driving the tractor looking 👀 good, Well I will now leave you to crack on, You all take care of yourself and stay safe.☀️🚜⭐️👍👌🥵🥵
The H&S keyboard warriors will be all over Jack & Hazza riding on the trailer. Back in the day we used to get 324 bales on our two big trailers. We stacked the top tier with a gap specifically to sit in, in the field, and, on the road (Shock -Horror) Send the H&S police 😹😹😹 Great Teamwork Family Cornock 👍👍👍
Great video Richard, good on jack for working as well on the farm and elsewhere, nice amount of bales for the winter. I can see a second hand baler coming to the farm before next year for the 265, and a four furrow plough for the maize land for harry.
With having a good crop of Silage and Hay this year Richard and possibly a surplus have you ever thought of putting some ground down to Corn for straw then reseeding with a new ley.

Best bit of news the milk price has gone up, I would say about time too it should be an annual event.🤠🐮
Did loads of this in the 80s. My job was loading the elevator to stack straw on the silage clamp, and it was all hand balls, even loading in the field
Another great video has always Richard and Harry and jack and Sam CRACK on 👍

Great job lads. I'd help on the local farms years back, but now it's all round bailed . Hope the wages have improved 😅. 👍

I like the Glasses . Seriously what kind are they .
Looks fun rolling in the bales of hay .
A hell of a crop of hay bales ready for the cattle in winter
With having a good crop of Silage and Hay this year Richard and possibly a surplus have you ever thought of putting some ground down to Corn for straw then reseeding with a new ley.
You look like Joe 90 🤓 . Any scrumpy, Richard! Just to wet the whistle 🍻
Well done lads on helping your dad it’s all done now 😊
Good job boys! I hated doing that. Hauling hay in Oklahoma is a horrible job.
Fantastic job
Funktastic glasses, you just need a yellow Baseball cap to top it off
Morning to you all. Richard you look like bono from u2 x
Amazing video 😂😂 loved the singing 😊😊😊
Stevie Wonder wore a pair of specs like that in the mid 1970s.... That makes them as cool as hell ...
I feel you frustration with the teenagers. They will learn from today with no hat, sunscreen, gloves or water.
Glad they ate pitching in.
Maybe cut a field or 2 for silage in clamp with the maize if maize yield is back a bit? Would have to be growing the grass now though
I thought Ray Charles was driving the tractor. 😂
that age they know it all been doing it for forty years.
Funky Ali G !
That’s what I thought as soon as I saw the sunglasses!😎
Was just thinking the same thing 😅
