I buy a stack of 1's every week. My bank hates me cause I am constantly asking for silver dollars and 2 dollar bills. I will never stop though so they gonna have to deal with it. I get really lucky because the town I live in is predominantly folks 65+ so when they pass their family just deposits their collectiona into the bank then im there to swoop in and nab up all of it. I would also check and see if it has a duplicate note for 2014, and is on the 2013B list, if you have one that matches one that someone else has from 2014, that one dollar bill can be worth a couple of grand. I would check it out. Just Google the 2013B project online and see if you can find the list of the groups of numbers that qualify. Who knows? It’s worth a shot though. Either way, it’s a cool note!!! Thus, all the things he is stating as odds are not factual, maybe close in some but considering all the factors, they're not determinable. Furthermore, the odds can vary depending on what's being spent, saved, damaged, and so on. So it's nice as a comparison but he should be stating that they're for comparison and not for determination.

Since condition of the bill is a major factor, how do you get nice crisp bills from your bank as opposed to the circulated bills that everyone has had? The circulated bills will offer a chance to find older dates, but the crisper bills will limited in dates correct?

I would think that it would depend on the repeating numbers. I mean, is it all 7s or all 6s? Both popular in the US. All zeros? All ones? Also, pretty rad!!! I mean, I would list it and see if you could get something out of it that is greater than the face value, and if not, don’t sit on that Benny … like the man said … spend it!!!

I figure it was the first row 5th column in a 50 bill print sheet, first series for 2017. If I'm reading the markings correctly I believe it was also created at the Boston mint. So much coolness packed into 1 dollar.

At 13:21 you describe 12011021 as a "ladder radar"; wouldn't the ladder radar be 32100123 ? Or is it enough to have just 6 of 8 rungs (a 6-digit ladder)? Also, on another UA-cam video, I heard a "broken ladder" defined as being a serial number that has no paired digits but is missing one number from the sequence; so, for example 08347156; might that be a different-but-legit definition of a broken ladder, or was that just info that was in error. So a seven digit broken ladder “is” worth keeping. Sigh. I put two back into the till this evening, and I don’t work tomorrow. I have a $5 dollar bill that its serial number makes this bill fall under several catagories its a binary repeater also a paladrome it consists of 2 four of a kinds with all odd numbers. My question is can this bill be worth decent money?

Do you believe that fancy serial numbers having one number off have value?

Also it depends on the fancy serial number.
Some would have value like one off from a solid. Or a seven of a kind.
But others no

The four front numbers on the dollar match and are the same in serial numbers you had shown one yours were four ..are they special because they match the four numbers on the dollar all the same numbers ??
I think your talking about solid quad serial numbers. Those are fancy but are low on the master list

At 13:21 you describe 12011021 as a "ladder radar"; wouldn't the ladder radar be 32100123 ? Or is it enough to have just 6 of 8 rungs (a 6-digit ladder)? Also, on another UA-cam video, I heard a "broken ladder" defined as being a serial number that has no paired digits but is missing one number from the sequence; so, for example 08347156; might that be a different-but-legit definition of a broken ladder, or was that just info that was in error. Thanks for the great video! :-)

So a seven digit broken ladder “is” worth keeping. Sigh. I put two back into the till this evening, and I don’t work tomorrow. I’m learning … I’m growing … maybe they’ll still be there this coming Friday. Maybe I’ll head back in the morning and switch them out for some non fancy bills …) Lol. I just got home now (@ 4:30am). There is no way I’m heading back tonight. I’m just going to binge watch fancy note videos till I pass out. 😴
