- On 16 July 1988, the Prince and Princess of Wales met the King of Pop.
The Royal couple went to see Michael Jackson perform at London's Wembley Stadium during his 'Bad' tour. The singer presented them with a charity donation as well as some tour jackets for the princes, William and Harry. Princess Diana was reportedly disappointed when Jackson told her that, out of respect, he would not be performing one of her favourite songs, 'Dirty Diana', despite the song not being about her!
The Princess of Wales and Michael Jackson never met again in person. Nevertheless, after their meeting in July 1988, the pair formed a close friendship. Often chatting by phone late at night, they related to each other's struggles with living in the public eye.

He didn’t have a choice. The pigment was leaving his skin. It’s too bad people didn’t understand the disease he had. Nowadays it’s being celebrated in modeling now. His makeup artist even said it got to the point where it took too much makeup to stay with the darker complexion. He had to have reconstruction surgery due to sores that developed due to his disease. A surgeon said that plastic surgery to fix them would’ve caused infections so they had to go the reconstruction route (I’m not a doctor so not sure how one is better than the other unless it’s the material they use).
MJ was a good looking man even before the surgeries! It's a shame he felt he needed to change the way he looked.

When Michael gave that interview to Barbara Walters in 1997, Yotube didn't even exist. If you watch the concert which is available on UA-cam, he did sing Dirty Diana. I think he didn't remember what they talked about or their conversation was not interesting, so he embelished quite a bit.

Diana married 1981, 20 years old, because she was in love with the idea to marry a famous Prince, loved the position of Prince Charles. She was crushed, but she didn't really love the man Charles and not at all his hobbies. She dreamed since childhood to marry a Prince (she thought about Prince Andrew who was more in her age) She wanted to get famous, wanted to get important - it was propheceised to her. For this reason her mother was against the wedding, Diana stated herself.
Diana was very demanding like Hasnat Khan said. She wanted to have 100 % attention, otherwise she got angry, depressed, felt not to be loved. (She pushed her step-mother downstairs accusing her not to give her mother 100 % attention during a meal. Threw herself downstairs to get attention, although she was pregnant. ) No man can give 100 attention, and not at all a future king who is used to get attention. No man could be her Mr. Right.
Diana said directly in a video tape to her speech teacher and actor Peter Settelen 1992 she felt NOTHING for Charles anymore after Harry was born 1984, although the time beeing pregnant with Harry was her best time with Charles. But her feelings for him vanished completly. ( She was hot and cold, up and down .) Instead married security officer Barry Mannakee was "the greatest love I ever had" 1885-1986, "when I was 24-25 years old" - adding she was only happy when Barry was around, looked for him all the day, dreamed to marry Barry..."And he (Barry ) said it is a good idea"... It was in newspapers and tabloids 1985-1986 that Barry and Diana's relationship is " to private, not appropriate" that the flirted in front of the clerks.
July 1986 Security Boss Allan Peters reported officially to the palast and also to Charles that Barry and Diana were seen in an compromising position.
Although you will not find security boss Allan Peters in Wickipedia under "Barry Mannakee " . (Someone should add informations in Wickipedia about it. ) It is unquestioned that the relationship between Diana and Barry was sexual because also James Hewitt wrote in his biography during Diana's lifetime about it !!! He wrote that Diana confessed to him a sexual relationship with Barry. On top Lady Colin Campbell stated Diana told her directly Barry was her lover.
July 1986 Security Boss Sergeant Allan Peters insisted that Barry had to leave because of his long affair with Diana. He told so Charles. First Charles didn't understand and argued, Barry should stay, because Diana was happy with him (and also the kids had a lot of fun) ... for this reason the Security Boss told him they weren't only best friends, nor he was only a shoulder to lean on.
Diana stated herself in a video tape 1992 to Settelen:" IT WAS ALL FOUND OUT and HE WAS KICKED OUT." (It was "all found out" that they were best friends? No, she ment more 😂😅..)
During these first 5 years Charles tried to love his young and beautiful wife. He was proud of her. No, also he wasen't perfect, but no one is perfect. When Diana made his life a hell, he flew to his hobbies. But he didn't cheat at all, he wanted that his marriage is a success and that his wife is happy without loosing himself. Charles always stated that he had nothing with Camilla during these years. He told so Dimbleby who wrote his biography 1994. All his friends and the palast stuff working there that time confirmed. Nevertheless Diana always was jealous. Charles had to fire more than 40 persons because she insisted. He even had to give away his old Labrador because Diana was jealous.
FINALLY Diana confessed to ALL OF US ON TV in her interview with Bahir - the script is still in internet - when Bahir asked her :"

Diana reported to Settelen 1982: After 1986 Charles "visited" her every 3-4 weeks....and making love was .... she couldn't confirm that they made love ...Since July 1986 Diana and Charles were singles again, allowed to love who they want to. The marriage was only on the paper, a fake marriage for public and their kids.
I waited for Charles reaction in public 1986 after Barry was officially kicked out, but public didn't get any informations 8 long years until Charles finally published an officially biography with the help of Dimbleby and until he stated on TV 1994 that the didn't start a relationship with Camilla before the marriage was irretrievably broken from Diana. (Some Diana-Mania-Fans will never listen to him).
And 9 years later Diana confessed officially 1995 (on TV BBC Panorama) she cheated first when she confessed Charles kept his wovs 5 years, because we know about her love to Barry 1985-1986. She had to lie in public about him because he was married.
Lady Colin Campbell wrote her book "the real Diana" , the same. She wrote that Diana lied to Morton , played the victim card, blamed ANYNOMOUSLY Charles and Camilla and the royal family. Morton believed her, big parts of public believed her, but only some years. Because we always have to listen to both sides when it comes to any bloody divorce.
Diana was a good actress. Friends of her said she could tell storys, they believed until they found out that they were completly wrong.
Diana told Lady Campbell 1991 the truth about her lovers when they told about Diana's biography, but Diana changed her mind, wanted to change her story 180 % to get a seperation. Lady Campbell refused to tell lies.
Diana always wanted to stay a famous princess, later she had the idea Charles should retire and she wanted to have his job.
Like friends of her stated, Diana was calculated threw and threw.
Like her grandmother said directly: Diana was a pathological liar and pretender.
Her grandmother appologized later to the Windsors not to warn them about Diana's complex character.
"Pitty not us, but pitty Camilla" like Harry stated in his interview when he got 18 years old and was asked about her relationship to Harry and William. He addet , Camilla "NEVER tried to substitude our mother. She is a wonderful woman. We (he and William ) love her to the bits."
Diana blamed Charles, Camilla and also Tiggy falsly, partly due to the sickness paranoia. Diana suffered paranoia like William told 2022 after Tiggy finally won in court against BBC Panorama. It is a pitty no one stopped her to tell lies since childhood. Her father said Diana liked to embolish things. But it was far more than that 😢.
