I turned 18 in 1974. Back then you could buy a car like this for $1500 to $2K. I and all my friends had cool '60s muscle cars. Sure miss those days.

That thing pulls hard. Specially manual. Only way really for a muscle car is manual transmission.

Beautiful car! Considering that the 454 didn’t come out till 1970, do you know if it was originally a 396 or possibly the 427?

Our understanding is it was an original 396 L78. With a lot of these older cars at some stage the engines are replaced and in this case they certainly put in something that absolutely slams you back in the seat.
