  • TL:DR - Why is there water on the floor? Water leaking onto floor under corner of door. Took it all apart to examine water dispenser and ice maker. Water is coming down door handle. So leak is not a leak but is condensation forming outside of ice maker flapper. And problem is revealed at 10:00 minutes into this video. Thanks for watching hope this helps someone.

Instructions in this video for removing frame around the Water Dispenser and Ice-Maker components of the freezer door.
The door handle also needed to be removed, and how to do this was not included, but it is pretty easy -- use a paint spatula with tape on the end. Pry the very top and very bottom edges off between the door handle and the "chrome" trim. Should be very easy. It does not slide off or have exposed screws. The handles are simply snapped into place, and inside, are 4 torx screws -- the 6-pointed star kind of screws. I used a ratchet set that included a match. It was not necessary to take the handle off other than to figure out what the problem was -- mysterious water drip down the handle and onto the floor.....
Thanks for watching. Follow if you like. :)

Exact same problem here. If you shine a flashlight in there and push down on the bottom of the opening with your hand you can see that there’s a separation. Water running down the back is going between the two pieces of plastic. Get it very clean with rubbing alcohol, and dry obviously. Use a fine bead of silicone or goop. Some kind of clear epoxy. You can use painters tape to make the lines cleaner.

Did you fix it? I think mine has a broken hose behind the door. Yours looks like water condensation.
