Currently a high school student in Wisconsin. The shockwave of this are being felt throughout the state, especially in smaller schools who have previously thought of themselves as safe. I graduated last year from a Christian school in Janesville, WI, about 45 minutes away from Madison. We used to have basketball games at Abundant Life and I know people with friends at that school.
Something needs to change with regards to pro-active mental health support at schools. Cuz there's a root problem in the physical realm that's manifesting itself in this way. It's heartbreaking to hear about these often in any given year.
