I'm likely going to get the Brita pitcher but use the Walmart filters. I like the led indicator on the pitcher but I like how cheap the filters for the Walmart brand are. If the Walmart brand had an indicator I'd be sold on it.
Thanks for the great review👍🏻. I need to replace my Brita pitcher and I was debating about getting a Brita again or the GV instead. Good to know that Brita filters can also fit in the GV.
Thanks for the Great video...I'm glad I got the Great Value one. Thanks for shedding light on the O-ring for me! I wanted to say that it is a good idea to check with your Water Co. to see if they use Chloramines or just Chlorine. They used Chloramines in L.A. and I had to use a solid carbon block water filter to remove the ammonia. I'm now in Reno, NV and they just use Chlorine here so I'm good.
I broke my Brita insert and got a Walmart pitcher which claims to take Brita filters because I have a lot of Brita filters on hand. As far as I can tell, the Brita filters leak in the Walmart pitcher. I hope that I just got them seated wrong and they will actually work in the Walmart pitcher, which is what the box claims. Brita filters do not have an O-ring and that might be a problem.
Update. I seated the Brita filter in the Great Value pitcher and pushed down until it seated. Success! No leakage, although the Brita doesn’t have an orating.
Glad this video is here because I couldn't find any great value filter replacements. So I now know I can use the brita Pacifica filter.
Awesome!!! Glad it helped!
Thank you for this video. It was very helpful.

I was looking to learn the difference between what gets removed from the water. I didn't hear any mention of it.

Wow I had no idea, thanks for sharing some great information!!
The miniature baseball bat is back! Yay! How about a review of the OXO pour over drip coffee maker with water tank?
Ok I have been looking at that one, I think I will get that one. Thanks again for watching and you support!!!
How effective is the Walmart filter compared to the Brita? That’s pretty important. Good review all the same 😊
Hard to say for sure but I think it is every bit as good. Thanks for watching.
Hey Please respond if you can.. Does Brita filter work with the Great Value Pitcher (body)?
Thanks for the info …
Any time!
1 coffee cup = 6oz.
The pitchers use the actual cup measurement and not coffee cup unite
Thanks for the update
Do they remove lead?

Should be oring , not orating.
If that's how you pronounce "ten," how do you pronounce "tin?" Also, there isn't a "th" sound at the end of "height."
