Loved this pattern!!! Just finished mine. Would love to see it worn in the video! Just as I wasn’t totally sure if got the fit right, but it’s so cute!!! I also put the drawstring inside the face ribbing before closing it up, that way I didn’t have to feed it through. Really great pattern ❤️❤️❤️
I just finished a granny square balaclava and stumbled on this pattern whilst trying to find another balaclava type. This pattern is modern and fresh! May I suggest the title include keywords for SEO - ribbed edge balaclava with drawstring. This pattern is slept on! Thank you for sharing keep them coming this will be one of my next projects 😊
Oohhh girl!!! You just got a new subscriber cuz I am obsessed with this pattern and I love how well you explain/show each step. I purposely tried making mine oversized so it worked up more like a hood than a tight balaclava and it turned out so perfect. I wish I could post a picture of it on here lol. Can't wait to see more of your tutorials 🖤
@@mmorrow7243 thank you so much! this makes me so happy, feel free to send me pics on IG of any of my patterns you make! I always love seeing results, thanks for the lovely comment ❤️
Thank you sm for this tutorial. Very helpful and the balaclava looks so good! My neck came out a bit loose unfortunately, and it bunches out at the back. Is there any quick fix for this?
I have been watching this tutorial and following it for like a month lol I have already made like 4 of these cause Im obsessed 😻 thank you so much for this tutorial, this one has been the easiest to follow and cutest ❤
can you do this with bigger yarn? I just got a cool multicolor yarn I want to use for a hat that says "bulky". I am a newer crochet-er so I don't know what this all means, but it says to use 8 mm hook and it says "US L-11". It's not a very big yarn just appears bigger than what you have as it is the twisted kind. I'm unsure as a beginner, do you think this would be suitable material for this project?
@@Eddysig for this particular balaclava I would recommend sticking to a medium weight yarn if you want to stick to the pattern completely - you could definitely try and adjust it to work with a bulkier yarn but as a beginner I would stick to the recommended style yarn 😊❤️
@@fairycloudz315 there are different types of balaclavas, this is technically an open face balaclava, the drawstring can be pulled to cover more of your face :)

That's a hood. A balaclava covers your face
