I went to this school. This took place on the iconic walkway through the quad. It isn't really a direct route anywhere. The school blocks the quad more severely on Picnic day every year. The violence was unnecessary.
Meh but fun to watch! Nothing more enjoyable than seeing SJW's in pain.
@@mosesking2923 you sound like a swell guy. the students should have just accepted the 81% tuition hike.
@@mosesking2923so you’re more of a “lay down and take it all” typa guy
There's a lot of corrupted people on this comment section :/
+AssassinThunder Yeah, fucking cop lovers :///
Nvm fuck those leftist lol
oh, what tough guy cops. A total over reaction i say. Why not just move in and handcuff each one instead if they did not move after a final warning. This behaviour is becoming so more common place in the' land of the free'.
The Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave - aha
Everybody in the comment has no hearts😭😭
thats youtube for you
fuck them trust fund college babies
just download the video and upload else where. they cannot erase this !!!
Lmfao! That's not how you react to getting hit with real pepper spray. You wouldn't just sit there and get blasted in the face and just keep sitting there. Ffffaaaaaake.
Record all the governments videos and save them for the day they try to delete them!
This is not a use of excessive force, pepper spary is the way that police officers are trained to use pepper spray if people are not cooperating.
when other cops dont stop them this gives the image to some people that they are all the same.
love the dude on the right at 0:14 who is just like
"welp... fuck this"
What were the events that led to this? please explain..
The students were protesting about college tuition, the police came, the protesters surrounded the police and refused to move, threatening the police.
Threatening the police how?
Super Duper Hyper Ultra Mega Double Extra Triple Extreme Infinity They surrounded the police and refused to move. The police warned the students several times the consequence if they didn't leave, but they took it as a joke until the police pulled out the pepper spray.
Cherry Berry
So again, what's the threat?
apparently there is no threat. There is lack of brain.
This is pure police brutality and students are absolutely right from my perspective when they chant - shame on you.
+Al Bel Brutality? They are breaking the law and refuse to comply. They should have been beaten out of the way.
+djshortsleeve They're not breaking the law, the law allows for freedom of association, freedom of speech. That is you're allowed to legally go where you want and say what you want.
they were blocking people from getting to class
A truly sad moment in modern history where decency is totally pushed aside to rash decisions. Peaceful protesting is legal, they're in a public space, yet the minds of those with power lean all too often to abuse rather than actual resolution.
Just because a protest is peaceful, doesn't mean it's legal.
@@sjoerdvelzen8255 just because it isn't legal, doesn't mean it's wrong
But why complain when the police try to enforce it?
@@sjoerdvelzen8255 believe it or not, but in most countries in west cops don't spray pepper on nonaggressive people like watering flowers, legal or not. That right here is worth a much more violent reaction than complaining.
@@Mish844 Then what do you suggest the police do to remove the protestors?
I think this is disgusting. Students invoke 1st Amendment, get sprayed for it. I hope those pieces of shit get sued for assault as this is unlawful.
This is my favorite SNL skit, honestly so realistic. Great job Jimmy.
This is not the way to stand as one, you will fall every time together. If you would use your full knowledge and capabilities I bet you wouldn't be protesting you would be acting. Protesting is not action, it's a reaction and you will fall every time if you react. You must act!
So don't protest then? Fuck the 1st Amendment? It's useless huh?
it's not because their life was threatened it was because the students did not follow the officers commands and officers do what they feel is necessary to control the crowd before it gets out of hand
Its not the fact they were pepper sprayed that's fucked up.
Its the fact the dude does it like he's watering his lawn, no big deal.
cops need some molotovs
Fuck you.
Yes there is "context" that would make it appropriate. The students were in violation of the fire code by blocking an egress door, resisting arrest, unlawful assembly, and failure to disperse.
Just watering the hippies.
bruiser, put yourself to sleep
Rise like lions after slumber
In unconquerable number
Let fall your chains to earth like few
We are many, they are few...
THIS NEEDS MORE VIEWS
This makes me want to cry. Wtf...😞What did they do anyway? I didn't realize sitting was a crime.
They were blocking the path and stopping students from getting to class. The campus called the police to help get things under control. The police moved in and ordered them to disperse. They swarmed and surrounding the cops, trapping them inside a huge circle of students. The cops warned the students that they would begin pepper spraying people if they didn't move. The hippies called the cops bluff but it turned out the cops weren't bluffing. Sweet Epic Justice ensued and the dirty hippie lowlife losers got bathed in the pepper spray.
LightsFlashNow you’re saying “they” surrounded the cops? the OP was talking about the people getting pepper sprayed, not the observers surrounding the cops.
LightsFlashNow LightsFlashNow You seriously can’t think of a better way to handle this situation than pepper spray? your’e just as stupid as these cops
LightsFlashNow wait wait stopping student from getting to class? the students can fucking walk around it holy shit you’re such a bootlicker. you act like blocking a pathway is a serious crime.
@@carstarsarstenstesenn Imagine you’re driving in the street through traffic then a group of protesters block the street. You can’t drive anywhere lest you get out of the car. I’m not saying the cops are justified but these are some dumb students. Protest all you want, don’t annoy others
