I knew you would love the Upper Peninsula. It’s awesome. Sad you are leaving there and or left there. Glad you to those place in Marquette and Coppertown. My great grandfather worked in the copper mines. Plus he made furniture too with my grandfather. They lived in Calumet. That fish did look good you ate. My sister and I still have rocks we saved from Petoskey and Harbor Springs. Congratulations on 50,000. That was cute you at the end you were both doing the happy dance. So happy for you both. Have a great night and week and see you soon!
First comment! Just had to put that out there. May comment more at the end. P.S. Liz you are a jumper!! Enjoyed the Michigan series. We would have never thought; however, your videos definitely put it on our radar. Congratulations on 50k+ subscribers.
Really enjoyed your UP video. There’s a lot to do in Marquette. Northern Michigan University is in Marquette, not University of Michigan and Michigan Tech University is in Houghton, not MIT. The Jampot rocks! Thanks.
@@EatSeeRV Actually you said Marquette was home to part of the Univ. of Michigan but it's Northern Michigan Univ., its own entity. Houghton is home to MTU (Michigan Tech Univ) not MIT. But I'm a native Yooper!
I love the UP. Such a beautiful place. FYI 🙂 The college in Marquette is Northern Michigan University and in Houghton the college is Michigan Tech University.
Congrats on 50k! You did my home state proud with all your recent videos. I can't thank y'all enough for that! Looking forward to many more videos. Cheers!
@@EatSeeRV what do you think of living in N Michigan/lakes vs ocean beach towns...do you have a preference between lakes vs. oceans? I think the former you can swim, less toursity..while the latter you can snorkel, surf, etc...
Congratulations on the 50k subscribers. I'm glad you got to see so much of what Michigan has to offer. We love the outdoors here. The UP is definitely a hidden gem. Up until last year you could go almost anywhere up there without reservations. I think that the secret is out now. Glad you appreciated it.
@4:27 is my new desktop background WOW! No wait @6:06 is my desktop background @6:21 it the one seriously now Or maybe @6:36 ? OK @16:34 THAT'S the one! I can tell you the reason I subed "joie de vie" You guys have it by the bucket load.
I just want to say that you guys do such a good job of informing people. It's not all about you. For example, the point you made about an ADA compliant way to see a site is so thoughtful. You rock!
Great video on my home state of Michigan. Keep up the great stories, maybe one day you will reach the 1 million subscribers mark like someone else I watch did.
Cliff jumping! Jumped off some big ones in my time but scaling back now to 25 ft or less. Watched two people injure themselves in front of us at South Point on Big Island two weeks ago and gave it a pass. Who knew, UP? Looks awesome and right time of year to be there.
Whoa, and that's why I (Dennis) do not jump off cliffs! This is definitely a good time of year to explore the upper peninsula. The weather was mostly agreeable and we missed the hordes of biting flies! - Dennis
Hard work and perseverance has paid off 50,000 subscribers 🍹🎊🎉🍷🍹. I have been following you since the RV super show Video. Congratulations. This was a particularly interesting video with a lot of great scenery. Definitely a thumbs up 👍👍👍👍
thanks for another beautiful video of our great state!!! can you tell we love it here? so heres an interesting recently discovered fact about copper country, its now believed that the Keeweenaw peninsula had a big role in the bronze age due to the purity of the copper in the region as some of the purest in the world and traceable back to copper country from bronze age artifacts
Loved your Michigan videos! Because I watched them, I remembered after our stop at Pictured Rocks yesterday to go to Big Spring! That was awesome!!! Thanks!
This channel could easily be 100k but congratulations on 50. More people need to see your channel because you guys do it right. Fun, beauty, educational and excitement you have it all. If you guys haven’t made plans to be somewhere in late September into October then stick around in Upper Michigan for the change of colours. You will love it and so will the subs. Love you guys. Cheers!!!
You deserve a standing ovation! 👏👏👏🎈🎈🎈🎉🎉🎉 Thanks for sharing your journey. I also enjoy and appreciate that you always include history and information about the indigenous people. 💖🙏✌
Yes! They are gorgeous I’ve been up in the upper peninsula all over there’s old mind to look at caves and waterfalls the lake superior when you walk the beaches you can find agates in Petoskey stones! Yeah it’s absolutely beautiful up there! I am retired now and I don’t know if I wanna go south or north
Lived in the UP many years; now I live just south of the bridge. Know well all the places you highlight in this video. To me, the UP is the most beautiful, wonderful place on earth. Thank you for this wonderful video. God bless you both.
Great stuff guys, good to see some RV (campgrounds) of the Eat See ( RV), and happy to contribute! I think the squeaky kiss and busting a dance move finished it all! We plan to be back to the UP in May and this greatly helps.
CONGRATULATIONS on the reaching 50,0000 subscribers. We love your videos. Also thanks for sharing our Great State of Michigan. Lots to explore up in the U.P. I am just overwhelmed with all the UA-camrs coming to our state this year. Happy camping...
Thank you! We didn't expect Michigan to be as crowded as it was this summer either. We're happy to hear you enjoyed traveling your home state with us! - Dennis
We are in Michigan too! We are also full timers. We started in Wisconsin at Osh Kosh Air Venture and we are doing Michigan in the opposite direction from y’all. We are currently in Petoskey and then on our way to Traverse City. We appreciate all of your tips! I am sure we crossed each other’s paths along the way. Really wish we had run into y’all! Have fun!!
Huge federal forests cover alot of the UP. Why do you pay so much for camp grounds? Glad you like our State! Michigan..the hidden gem of America. We get a bad rap but, 90% of the State isn't the Detroit area & all the bad stories.
Corrections - Marquette, not campus for UofM, but Northern Michigan University, not related. Also Houghton is not the home of MIT, it is the home of MTU, Michigan Tech University. You may have pissed off some college's but it was a great showcase of our UP. :) congrats on 50k+1
Just FYI Northern Michigan University is the school in Marquette not the University of Michigan. Also Houghton is not home to MIT but Michigan Tech University. I'm originally from Marquette and this city is simply adorable. The city continues to grow but still embraces the nature that surrounds it.
I have watched your pictured rocks post, your tauqunemon falls post , and now this one. I enjoyed all 3 immensely. You do a great job of detailing the attractions of each area. I have lived in Michigan for 62 of my 67 years. I have long known that Michigan generally is a well kept secret from a lot of people around the country. When they think of Michigan, they think of the auto plants in Detroit and Flint and the crime rates associated with those and other cities in the state. However that is southern Michigan. What most people are not aware of is the beauty that is the northern half of the state. You might think if people ever look at a map and see all the water surrounding the state, the 11,000 inland lakes and all the National and state forests, they might think this is a place worth visiting. It certainly is. You guys did a great job bringing out the natural beauty and charm of the northern lower peninsula, and the upper peninsula. Just one very minor detail, just to give the people of Marquette and Houghton their just due. Northern Michigan University is the college in Marquette, not The University of Michigan, which is in Ann Arbor, in southeast Michigan, and Michigan Tech University sits in Houghton, not MIT which is in Massachusetts. Oh, congrats on your 50k subscriber. I see today it is up around 63k.
We visited the UP this week - utterly awesome - The very top (Copper Harbor) reminded us of Sweden - The UP is breathtaking - Thank you for sharing your adventures 💞

I would like to check those places you've show us that we never been. Especially that BALD EAGLE! What a treat! Thank you for sharing your adventure.
there is tons of free camping in michigan. in state forests or national forest land you can camp for free with certain restrictions. certain small distance from some waters, rivers and such. also a few miles from designated campgrounds. the upper peninsula is mostly state and national forest land.
Yeeeehaaa 50K, way to go, you always provide interesting videos, the UP of michigan is really nice, we went to Whitefish Point a few years ago, we really enjoyed it, travel safe
Awesome. The UP is making a comeback with tourism after some rough times. Did Iron Mountain area years ago in the winter with sleds and friends. Cold, but such a blast.
