- Small update. Lots of work done. I've re-made the intro sequence music and I've completed the Stage Start sequences for all 9 Robot Masters. Work work work ^_^
YokuMan will be a secret Robot Master, much like BreakMan in MegaMan 3.
This is in-game footage. However the framerate is better in the actual game. It's 60 FPS in the game.
This footage is from a game that is still in early stages of development.
Upon uploading this video (July 15th 2009),
Intro & Stage Select are done.
NailMan's stage is fully built but there are no enemies or boss. : P
RainbowMan's stage is fully built but there are no enemies or boss either.
JetMan's stage area 1 is built.
In the next weeks/days, I'll be working on spriting enemies and building more stages. Maybe work on a boss. I don't know.
The game itself is not available for download. Only will be once the game is complete. ( :

I don't own the MegaMan series. It belongs to CAPCOM.
I love how he had the balls to call it Megaman 10 back then.Thinking that Megaman 10 wouldnt come for years
The funny thing is that Nitro man was also in Mega Man 10
The old title screen music got much negative feedback, that's why I replaced it.
But the old song will probably be used at some other point. Maybe in the credits, since it sound happier.

The robot master mugshots on the select screen look really good.
The intro theme sounds much better this time. It's more like what I would find in the NES and NES-like games.
Also, nice touch with JetMan's blinking lights.
That actually makes quite a lot of sense and could fit!

one of the best parts of a Mega Man game was to see all the new robot masters. This is just fucking BAD ASS!!!!!
I have to say that Comet Woman looks AWESOME. I also like Yoku Man's design as well.

I think the music for the robot masters intro is pretty cool.
The only Megaman game that he hasn't been in after his creation is Megaman 9. It was stated that Bass was undergoing upgrades of some sort during MM9.

If it is him, then I have to say that I'm surprised he's become so smart and has all those other robots under his control! I guess he kind of learned from his master Dr. Wily somehow.

Yokuman will appear after defeating the other 8 robots. He created the Disapearing blocks in the Megaman series. The captured Wily Castle will come next after defeating Yokuman in the full game.
I'm really lookin' forward to see some gameplay from the robot masters. Yoku Man seems mysterious. Cool! :D

Gold Man: RM made of solid gold with a Bright Man-style weapon
Laser Woman: Robot Mistress that uses laser weaponry
Psi Man: RM with psychokinetic abilities
Vibra Man: Sword Man-style RM with a buzz saw for an arm
I hope that mystery robot is Bass. Judging by those red eyes in the dark, it couldn't have been anyone else! It's just got to be him!

The percussion in the boss selection music is too loud. Aside from that, it looks great.
This is so cool. From one Mega Man fan to another, you are doing what I would love to do. I was writing on a piece of paper the other day some ideas for my own Mega Man game, and I had a robot master named Jet Man as well. Except mine was dark blue and forest green, his head was the nose of the plane and his arms were the wings of the plane he could change into. Anyway, 5 stars all the way.Good luck with the game and I hope to see more soon.

I have to admit, even for a smart alek scientist, he finally didn't know what was going on.
@rsa12985 I think he was only actually thrown in jail once, and he broke out half a year later. For some reason, after he escapes capture, no one bothers to pursue him until he commits another crime.
Looks awesome! but I still think you should make at least 1 or 2 daytime stages or the game will be too dark. Hammer Man would be also a very obvious Nail Mans weakness.

Ah, yes, and a few other things. I don't know if it's just me, but does anyone else think that this "Mysterious Robot" is probably Bass? During the ending of Mega Man 9, his blueprints were shown in the ending, because of the fact that he was supposedly getting upgraded, and that was meant to be a major plot point in the next game. Also, I've been looking at screenshots of the ending for Mega Man 2: The Power Fighters, and the eyes look very similar (the red pupils and all).
He is a person that created a MegaMan gameplay engine with Multimedia Fusion 2. Very accurate at that. I gotcha on the virus part. Cant trust many downloads on the net nowadays, lol.

Megaman Unlimited will forever be the true Megaman 11.

MegaPhil, I know you've probably heard this many times, but this game is truly a work of art. This game looks very professional, and looks almost, or should I say JUST like it was made by Capcom themselves. You perfectly replicated the art style, the Mega Man 2-esque music style, and pretty much everything else. I know for a fact that this game is going to turn out to be a masterpiece, just like all the previous games in the series. Keep up the good work.

@rsa12985 The only time Wily actually explicitly went to jail was at the end of MM6, and the very beginning scene of MM7 involves robots he created just for such a situation breaking him out of jail, so he didn't serve his full sentence. (MM1 and MM2 are a little vague on what happens to Wily at the end, but he clearly escapes Mega Man in MM3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10, I, II, III, IV, and V)
it is ridiculous than Megaman trust again in Wily, In Megaman 3 and 9 he pretended to turned on his evil ways, but it was a fake.
But the Dr. Wily from Megaman NT in the end of the game, he had a change of heart and became a good person

Hey MegaPhilX, what are you using to make this game? I want to make my own Megaman or Megaman X game, but I just have Snes ASM knowledge =/. Thanks and this looks so good.
Dr.Wily didn't know that somebody else was controling his robots. The villain who captured Wily could have been Zero which was created by Wily. Yoku man was the one that created disappearing blocks that Mega Man saw throughout his battles with the evil scientist. He admits that he didn't want this crime to happen.

i think it would be very cool if Megaman gets taken and Protoman comes i just think it would be fucking amazing just to hear that whistle out of nowhere.
Best to my knowledge, there could be only one reason for why Bass would capture his own creator. And that is for the sole purpose of forcing him to make him a stronger fighting machine to defeat Megaman. That's my best guess.

@TheStolken Well, the thing is, is that this game was in development BEFORE the official Mega Mab 10 was released. And so, it featured Nitroman, but Capcom out HIM in Mega Man 10, and Phil had to change his name. But this was clearly before. In fact, Capcom used Comet Woman's stage art on the Official Mega man 10 English website.f

If that mysterious robot is bass, you might want to use the mega man 10 bass sprites on sprites.inc. mainly because bass is based on mega man and that the black mixes with the background too much. ^_^
My prediction would be that the Yoku Man stage will be playable after the other 8 robots are defeated. That will only be in the full game.
Before megaman 10 was released, megaphil X alredy used "nitro man" name. So i guess it was just a coincidence. Even the story is similar... I want to play this game!!!
Lastly, this robot knows how to use the dash ability, just like Bass, he has an orange-colored trim around him, and for some reason, this robot automatically seems to know Mega Man, even though he supposedly has no connection to Dr. Wily. This entire thing may very well be an act. Bass has proven himself to be quite an actor in the past, like when he and Dr. Wily tricked Mega Man in Mega Man 7.

Capcom should buy your work from you and release it on consoles with you getting a big cut of the money.

If Bass/Forte was Wily's kidnapper, chances are it would mean that Wily's going to trick Megaman.
...At least, that's what I'm PROBABLY guessing for the mysterious robot who kidnapped Wily.
Either Bass/Fore could be Wily's kidnapper, or it could be Quint.

Marble Man: Guts Man-style RM based on Indian marble temples
Vanish Man: RM capable of rapid teleportation
Tsunami Man: Water RM that creates massive tidal waves
Sonic Man: Elec RM based on radio waves & sound frequencies
Finally, a game where Wily might be legit for once. I don't think it will last long though.
I have done in Modnation racers yoku man, and it looks awesome(except pi cork voice). i also have in same game yukon(crystal man), needle man and skull man, and some sonic characters(now only blaze and omega).
I love how Yo-Yo Man's name is one letter and a dash away from Yo Yo Ma.

Dude, Capcom already knows about it & they loved it. As long as he doesn't make money off it, they're fine. Wouldn't be surprised if they bought the rights to it once he's done though
