i know you mean well but when you say this, you are denying that men can be feminine. you are saying that his features and behaviour don't match what being a man is to you and thus he represents androgyny. you are creating transphobic boxes to place him outside your binary. his gender and identity are not something for you to co-opt and reframe. this album is about accepting himself as a man who constantly talks about his body, dieting, and claiming he isn't manly enough. he is still dieting despite saying he has accepted himself, being hypocritical of his muscles, denying himself food despite being hungry. so to view him through your lens of gender binary denies his reality and means you don't understand how his visuals and behaviour are not "gender" but contentious and a point of shame in a heteronormative, misogynist post-korean war culture.
