I thought since I've done bunny and Cat ears I should add a popular one and do these bear ears.

how mutch yarn in grams do i need if i use yarn that fits a 4mm hook?
Oufff! Not sure - I took this question to Google and I believe it's a "4 medium" that's for hooks 4mm-6mm

good question! I think you might need some help with a tool but tbh i think it would go faster with a crochet hook! The stitch is more intricate than knitting a blanket. ❤
Hiiii! Can you please share the written pattern for this? I'm a beginner, but it's hard to follow along when I don't know what steps/stitches we're using at the beginning of the ear.
Hihi!! i don’t write written patterns!! I make a lot of freeform pieces so I don’t really make a lot of written patterns.
In terms of stitches- at timestamp 5:20 - i use a double crochet stitch!

Pattern -
Make a magic circle (there are many tutorials on yt that show how even slower than her video)
Chain 6 sc on magic circle
Pull circle shut using tail end of yarn but keep one half flat
Turn and double crochet twice into each stitch (you should end with 12 stitches)
Turn upside down and sc in to each stitch on the straight edge of ear (there should be 6 but it doesn’t matter really cause it’s just to make it easier to attach.. no one will see this side)

How to you connect the ears to the hay?
Hihi ❤ follow from 10:30 in the video!
You can weave it together with the yarn and a larger needle 🪡 or with the crochet hook.
You could also place the ears on the balaclava and weave from the inside of the hat. This would probably allow the ears to stand straight up.

i would say 150- 250 yards is enough. :)

Walmart! or yarninspirations online store! its a bulky fleece yarn
How much yarn you used to make this?
Ouf! Definitely under 100 yards. Maybe even under 10-15yards! It was not a lot at all.
